Wings (winged wolves)

ruby bared her teeth an got up an looked at ice sleeping. Ruby padded to angel "ill lead them from here here if they came close it here'

(ok later we wont go to far )

Ice growled, opening his eyes and getting to his feet. 'How many are there?'

"I don't know,about 10,maybe."Angel said with a shrug.She then opened her wings and flew back up into the air and started flying back towards the search party.

ruby darts in between the tree staying around the outer circle

Ice growled and kicked off the ground, heading directly for the party. He soon spotted them, and dove towards the ground, landing around a quarter of a mile off. Although there were bushes and ferns in the way, he could see them perfectly, there were about 11 or so, and 3 dogs tied to chains that were wrapped around wooden stakes in the ground. It looks like they were there to stay if he didn't get rid of them.

ruby crawled slowly throught the bushestring to be as quitl as she could

Angel flew down beside Ice and said,"Maybe would should just leave them alone,other wise more and more will come to search."She glanced over at him and added,"Besides there is 11 of them and 3 of us."

Ruby flicked her ears over at them."true"she whispered"but what if they go back an more then a11 come then?"

He growled softly. 'Either way we can't let them stay. I have to agree with Ruby. If we don't kill them now, then more will come. I am certain of it.' He answered in little more than a whisper. He dug his claws into the earth, making small grooves, eager to be rid of the trespassers. 'This is how our kind died out. They were too nice to the humans, too forgiving. They let them come because they believed that they could befriend them. We cannot afford mistakes like that.'

"Fine."Angel snapped.Then she took of into the air and circle above the humans to get their attention so they wouldn't notice Ice and Ruby coming at them til it was to late.She folded her wings in and dived down towards the human then opened her wings so she glided about 4 feet above their heads before going back up into the air.

The humans yelled, and tried to grab for their guns, but Ice got there before them. He grabbed all of the guns in his mouth, and kicked off the ground, flying high and dumping them in a tree. They cursed and yelled, but could do nothing as Ice dived and leapt on the first, killing him instantly as his head hit a rock. The others shouted and set the dogs on him. They sped towards him, barking and snapping, gleaming saliva dripping from their teeth. He sprung on the first, pinning him to the ground.

Angel dived down and attacked a dog that had been about to attack Ice from behind.The dog bit into her leg and she yelped at first but then her anger grew and she lived up to her name as Death Angel.She bit into the dogs neck and cut of it's windpipe.It soon suffocated.

He attacked another human, bringing him down easily, before taking down two others. He was about to spring on another when there was a deafening bang, and a sudden searing pain in his outstretched wing. He yelped and instinctivly withdrew his wing. When he looked at it, all he could see was a mass of white and blue feathers and lots of scarlet blood. He howled in pain and ran to attack the human who had shot his wing. The smile was wiped form his face as he fell lifless onto the ground.

Angel looked around her at all the gore and carnage,then she saw Ice's wing.She ran over to him and asked,"Are you okay?"She growled when she saw another dog running towards them.She took of towards it growling and they both leaped into the air at the same time,and crashed into each other. Angel killed the mutt after a short fight.She then turned and trotted back over to Ice,while looking around for Ruby.

Ice nodded. 'I'll live.' He leapt onto the last man there, and he fell with a thud on the ground. Carefully, he lay himself on the ground and opened his wing slowly. He winced as pain coursed through it like electricity.

Angel laid down and watched as he did what he did.

He lay it down on the ground and examined the crusted blood. 'I may have to stay on the ground for a while. Until my wing fixes I can't fly at all.'

"That might actually be a good thing."Angel said smiling," 'Cause then you can attack humans without them seeing you in the air first."She laid her head on her paws and closed her eyes with a sigh as her black coat started to warm up from the sun.

He nodded and rested his head on his paws, letting his limp wing lie open beside him, his left wing tucked up against his chest.

Ruby looked around. "what are we going to do bout the mess though?"she asked

"The bears and buzzards should get them."Angel said as she rolled over on her side.

"shook her self."that a pleasant though"

Ice looked over at the two. 'I suggest we try and get back to the den.' He called over, staning up slowly and letting his wing droop to the ground.

Ruby noded"alright she walked closer to ice ."need help?"

Angel yawned, got up and walked to the den.She was too tired to think about helping,so she didn't try to.When Angel got back to then den, she went inside and curled up,tucking her tail around her nose and her wings around her body.Soon the fea was asleep.
