Base Story Line:

You were born into the vast world of Pokémon.
A place where people and creatures called Pokémon live side by side in harmony.
When you were young you dreamt of becoming leaving home to become a Pokémon master; a Professional Trainer who specializes in raising and training Pokémon for battle.
As you got older your dream began to edge closer very slowly, before finally kick starting with the exciting capture of your first Pokémon.
Now you have begun your journey to becoming a Pokémon master, you’ll need to catch more Pokémon along the way and train harder than you ever have before.

Description: Alexsei has an aggressive attitude about him that demands respect. He can often come across as Antisocial, Short tempered, cocky, Cold, Sarcastic, Rude, and Honest to the point of being blunt.
He has a general dislike of all people, but will fiercely protect those he cherishes. He is a big believer in honor and self – discipline, though he has a tendency to neglect himself when under stress.
As for his physical appearance Alexsei can be described as a devilishly handsome rebel. His muscular build and athletic frame show a body capable of great destruction. He wears his grayish blue colored hair short but spiky and has a long fringe that hangs a little over his right eye. As for the colour of his cold eyes, they are a piercing ultramarine blue.

Attire: Alexsei’s fashion has a clear rebellious urban look to it. He enjoys wearing thick hooded jackets, cargo pants and combat boots. He can nearly always be caught donning some kind of piercing, be it a lip ring or ear piercing. Alexsei also has an intricate Celtic cross tattooed onto the upper part of his left arm.

He had been travelling through the Cyan Mountains for three months now. Usually it would take a traveler about two to three days to cross through the mountains, but that was not Alexsei’s purpose in this journey. His purpose was to escape the reach of team rocket, and as far as he figured what better way to do it than by hiding away in the most Godforsaken place in the country, The Cyan mountains.
If the sheer cold of the snowy mountains didn’t get you first, then the dangerous blizzards and frequent avalanches would get you next. There was also the factor of wild Pokémon to constantly watch out for and the difficulty that finally gets most travelers is the fact that most electronic devices don’t work on the Cyan Mountains due to the magnetic fields surrounding the place.
To a normal traveler this place was hell, but to an Ex Gym leader on the run from team Rocket, this place was next to perfect.
(Present):
Alexsei’s ultramarine eyes hid behind thick protective goggles as he travelled through deep cold snow. The freezing wind that blew could temporarily blind a man who didn’t protect his eyes and Alexsei knew this all too well, making the mistake himself once before. He also knew that if the wind persisted like this he would soon find himself stuck in a snow storm. Not a wise mistake to make.
The blue haired teen suddenly reached for his belt and unclipped two small red Pokeballs. He needed to quicken his pace before the storm and find shelter. “Sora! Reaper! I Choose You!” he called out as he released his Pidgeot and Arcanine from the small Pokeballs. The two massive creatures emerged immediately into the snow, their powerful bodies built to withstand the cruel weather. Alexsei nodded respectfully at his Pokemon before giving them their instructions, “Sora search the mountains for a nearby shelter, Reaper and I will follow from the ground”. The Massive Pidgeot didn’t waste time and set off into the sky quickly and obediently.
Alexsei turned towards his Arcanine, preparing to mount it and ride off after Sora. However something caught his eye before he did so. In the distance he could make out the odd shape of something half buried in the snow, it looked human.

It had been days since Scott had seen anything except snow, his own footprints, and more goddamn snow. Needless to say, his patience was wearing thin, and he was starting to wonder if there was even any truth in the rumours that he could find the Cyan gym leader in these mountains. He had already earned 7 badges with his father's unstoppable team of Pokemon. It had not been easy, but Scott and the pokemon had worked hard to get where they were... Then they hit a brick wall: Alexsei.
It wasn't the eighth gym leader that was the problem, but rather his absence... After all, it took all eight badges to earn entrance to the Jhoto league, and more importantly, the 50 000 poke-dollar prize at the end. That money was of unbelieveable importance to Scott - and that was why he was wandering these godforsaken snowy mountains, cold and alone, in search of one elusive man who might not even be there.
He was about ready to give up...
Which is exactly why, when he unexpectedly tripped in a snow drift, he did not get up right away.
He just lay there, hopeless and despondent, tasting the snow, and wondering when lady luck would once again show him her shy smile.

Alexsei never left anything suspicious looking unchecked, the ignorance usually ended up F*cking him up later on in life. As a result the Russian grabbed a handful of his Arcanine’s thick fur and mounted his powerful stead, heading straight towards the bizarre lump in the snow.
At first glance the Russian thought the strange lump it to be a rare Pokémon and instinctively excitement coursed through his blood, though it was short lived for as soon as the lump heard Arcanine’s heavy footsteps it rolled over to reveal it’s true form… a human. At this sight Alexsei gave a small snarl of disgust, he hated people...all people for that matter, he wasn’t one to discriminate.
The Russian glared down coldly through his thick dark goggles at the boy in the snow. The boy didn’t look like a threat, though no one really would if they where half frozen in the snow.
The Russian reeled over what to make of the situation and seemed very tempted to simply leave the young traveler in the snow. If anything he felt it was justice to do so. In the Cyan Mountains only the strongest and fittest survive and Alexsei lived by this motto day to day.
The Russian suddenly dismounted his Arcanine, before slowly walking over towards where the boy lay. He nudged the teen with his boot before speaking with a thick Russian accent upon his tongue, “Your one Stupid Kid to lay about in the snow of the Cyan Mountains… What are you doing here anyway?” He growled aggressively.

Scott felt the vibrations in the ground the moment the man landed beside him, and his resulting surprise motivated him to raise himself into a cross-legged sitting position, stifling a yawn.
He squinted up at the man standing over him – blinded by the glaring white light of the snow.
“You’re one stupid kid to stand in it.” He shot back defensively, apparently unaware that his comeback made little sense. “At least I thought to conserve energy! Standing around… You’ll be tired long before-“
He broke off when he saw the man’s massive Arcanine standing in the snow behind him.
“Damn it…” He muttered, with an expression of dawning comprehension, “Why the Hell didn’t I think of that…” He glanced down at the pokeballs strapped to his belt, then sighed and shook his head. Too late now.
Heaving himself to his feet, Scott smiled, and briefly dusted the snow off his behind, before offering his hand to the stranger.
“The name’s Scott.” He said, “Not Scotty, or Scotland, or Scotford – just Scott. Though I don’t know why anyone’d call me anything else, anyway… It’s kinda dumb.” He grinned, and shrugged unconcernedly – obviously fully convinced that he was hilarious, regardless of whether or not the stranger agreed. He was just happy to have some human companionship again.
“As for why I’m out here…” He went on, staring dramatically into the distance with a wise, dignified look, “I heard rumours that the leader of the Cyan gym has run off here – cowardly turd.” He laughed, “I’ve got to track the bugger down to get my last badge, so I can take on the Jhoto league!” He flashed a cocky grin, patting his team of pokeballs. “You don’t happen to know where this douche is, do you? I mean, there’s like, nobody here, besides us. How hard could it be to find him?”

Alexsei sighed in annoyance as the boy began to speak; he didn’t want to know the boy’s name and in turn slapped away the outstretched hand in a swift curt manner. The only thing he wanted was for the boy to leave, “Look I don’t want to know your name kid, I really don’t care who you are, just answer my damn question... Why are you here?”
Scott didn’t seem discouraged by Alexsei’s curt manner and continued to explain his predicament in a cheerful and energetic tone, As for why I’m out here… I heard rumors that the leader of the Cyan gym has run off here – cowardly turd. I’ve got to track the bugger down to get my last badge, so I can take on the Jhoto league!
At first Alexsei said nothing, he just remained deadly silent as feelings of anger and guilt began to rapidly pulse through him. His Arcanine flatten it’s ears instinctively against it’s skull before uttering a small fearful whimper, it sensed Alexsei’s anger and knew exactly what to expect.
The Russian clenched his fists tightly in a desperate attempt to calm himself down, when suddenly Scott opened his mouth to ask a final stupid question, You don’t happen to know where this douche is, do you? I mean, there’s like, nobody here, besides us. How hard could it be to find him?
Alexsei glowered murderously as his powerful fist made contact with Scott’s face, he had lost it; the rational thinking part of his brain had shut down completely.
The Russian grabbed Scott by the collar of his shirt and began to shake him with frightening strength, “You dare to dirty my name do you! You don’t know a F*cking thing about me or my life! I’ll Kill you brat!” Alexsei growled dangerously before gifting Scott with yet another blue eye.
The Russian was very tempted to continue beating Scott, when Sora’s sudden cry pierced through the sky clearing Alexsei’s mind immediately and reminding him of the pending blizzard that was on its way.
It he stayed out in the snow any longer he would be risking his life and the life of his Pokemon. The Russian released his grip on Scott’s collar suddenly realizing that the boy was unconscious.
“Sh*t this idiot is out cold…If he dies here it’ll be on my conscious” the Russian stated in annoyance. “People really are pathetic” he snarled irritably before picking up Scott’s unconscious body and slinging him over Reaper’s back. Alexsei then mounted Reaper himself before giving the Arcanine instructions “Reaper follow Sora to Shelter, don’t any waste time… run”

When Scott awoke, he found himself lying in a cold stone cave – a flickering reddish light irritating his eyes behind the closed lids.
With a groan, he blinked them slowly open, and squinted at the fire beside him.
For a moment he was confused – then it all came rushing back.
He sat up abruptly, cursed at the pain in his head, then wheeled on the young man sitting not far from him.
“You punched me!” He squeaked indignantly, glaring at the side of Alexsei’s head, “You- Oooooh!” He sniffed the air hopefully, “Is that soup?”
He crawled over to Alexsei, and poked hopefully at the bubbling pot in front of him.
“Mmmm, that smells good.” He said, sniffing appreciatively. Obviously, any ill-will he bored toward the man from the punch was already forgotten.
“Hey, don’t you want to give me some?” He suggested with a grin, then, “Wait…”
His eyes widened, and he stared at Alexsei thoughtfully for a while.
This time, it was the soup that was forgotten.
“You’re the Cyan gym leader! You’re Alexsei, aren’t you?!” He squinted at the man, as though seeing him better could help him determine this, “That’s why you decked me, isn’t it? Man, I was mocking you so bad. You must have been pissed!” He laughed, “No wonder you punched my lights out. Honestly, I’m surprised you didn’t leave me out there.” He grinned unconcernedly, “So you’re not a total douche, are you? Although you did punch me, and that was kinda douchey.” He shrugged, “Oh well, I forgive you, so no worries!” He smiled brightly, and patted Alexsei’s shoulder in a friendly fashion – then dipped his finger into the pot before him with an exclamation of, “Mmmm, soup!”
The very next moment, he was whimpering in pain, and sucking on his burned finger. “Not my smartest move…” He mumbled, blowing tenderly on his sore finger.

The Russian Teen watched as a pot of soup boiled and stewed over the warmth of the fire.
It had been an entire two days since he had picked up Scott and the boy had only just started to rouse from his sleep.
Alexsei turned his head in Scott’s direction as the boy suddenly jumped to life, ”You punched me! … You- Oooooh!...Is that soup? “
Alexsei rolled his eyes in annoyance, “What else could it be Sherlock” he snapped sarcastically before giving the pot of soup a stir.
Mmmm, that smells good … Hey, don’t you want to give me some? Scott suggested with a wide eyed grin as he edged closer towards the pot. Alexsei raised an eye brow thoughtfully before replying on a rather frank tone, “Not really, no”
He watched Scott cautiously, feeling a little uncomfortable as the boy stared at him through squinted eyes, You’re the Cyan gym leader! You’re Alexsei, aren’t you?!
Alexsei shrugged apathetically, he didn’t really pay attention to the rest of what Scott had to say, but smirked when the boy burned his finger.
“You talk too much, shut up and eat this before I change my mind” Alexsei growled as he passed Scott a bowl of soup.
“We’re gonna head out for Magenta Town soon, so prepare yourself and your Pokemon for travel” Alexsei added over his shoulder as he stood up and headed to where his Arcanine lay, a large bowl of soup in hand.
The Russian stroked the Pokemon’s thick golden coat before placing the bowl before Reaper. The Pokemon lapped at it gratefully allowing Alexsei to start checking the massive canine’s paws for any abrasions or injuries with an expert eye. After a while he nodded with a satisfied expression on his face and began to pack his rug-sack. “I hope you have a Pokemon to ride, it’ll be a long wand cold walk if you don’t…not that that’s my problem really”

About half an hour later Alexsei sat upon Reaper’s back, waiting for Scott to emerge from the cave so that they start missioning towards Magenta town.

He squinted in the distance, keeping a look out for his pigeot; Sora. She would act as their guide.

Scott was slightly touched when Alexsei handed him a bowl of soup, despite his earlier unwillingness to share. He took it gratefully, and blew softly on the steaming surface while he listened to what his companion had to say.
Heading for Magenta town, huh? Well, good riddance. He had got what he wanted from this place, and he really didn't want to hang around in the snow any more. It was cold, and wet.
"I'm not sure I have a pokemon I could ride." Scott admitted after taking a few sips of the warm soup. He thought a moment, seeming calmer and more sensible now, then shook his head. "Bayleaf would try to carry me, but I'm too heavy for her, and it'll be a trying journey. I'd ride Charizard, but with his tail flame in this snow..." Scott shuddered, "I'd rather walk than take the risk."
He couldn't ride Onix, either. Melted snow was water, after all, and Onix was a rock type.
"I'll walk." He said with a confident smile, "I've been doing it all this time, what harm could walking a little longer do?"
He chuckled to himself, and drained the last of his soup, then got up with a stretch, and began arranging his things.
Alexsei was waiting outside by the time he strapped his pokeballs to his belt, and stepped outside into the snow, shivering slightly.
"I f-forget how c-cold it is out here." He said through chattering teeth, rubbing goosebumps from his arms. "I don't know how you c-cope with it. Why the Hell were you h-hiding out here a-anyway?"
He jogged a few steps, falling into step beside the massive Arcanine. Though it was quite a challenge to keep up, he did the best he could, still watching Alexsei's face as he waited for his answer.
He'd have done better to watch where he was putting his feet...
The next moment proved this, as he stepped into a snow drift, and vanished into the fluffy white stuff - falling face first into a deep hole, and becoming instantly submerged.
"Oh, rats." He cursed through a mouthful of snow, "Not again..."

Alexsei pulled Reaper to a halt. Then in one swift movement he dismounted his Arcanine and landed next to the deep snowdrift Scott had fallen into.
He peered down at the boy in the snow, sighing heavily as he reached out his hand and grabbed Scott by the scruff of his jacket, pulling the boy out of the snow and onto his feet.
“Your too clumsy, at this rate we’ll never get to town” he snarled annoyed before adding, “...It’ll probably be better if you rode with me”
Alexsei stared coldly at Scott, making sure that the boy understood that he was not doing this out of kindness but out of convenience and necessity.
The Russian walked towards his Pokemon ready to ride off again, when suddenly he paused to look back at Scott’s shivering form. He shook his head in disbelief before taking off the thick fur jacket he was wearing. He tossed the Jacket Scott’s way, “If you whine any more about the cold, I’ll leave you behind” he stated simply before quickly Mounting Reaper.


The two travelled on through the snow, eventually hitting the final stretch of ice that blocked them from the mountain pass. Alexsei stopped his Pokemon abruptly, hopping off to examine the ice that stretched out before them. He tapped the snow with his boot and sure enough the ice beneath the snow crumbled falling into a deep hidden crack. “This area is where the glacier is thinnest, you and I will travel on foot...you follow in my footsteps okay?” The Russian stated simply as he returned his Arcanine to it’s Pokeball.
He then headed out towards the precautious ice field swearing silently under his breath in Russian as he padded across the ice.
All seemed well as the two trainers crossed the delicate ice field and they were almost across when suddenly Alexsei stepped wrong. The Ice beneath his boot shattered immediately and the Russian boy was instantly swallowed up into a deep icy crevice.
Alexsei awoke a few minutes later feeling pain surge through his head and his wrist, he sat up to examine the situation. Nothing seemed broken thankfully, but his wrist was defiantly sprained and he could warm droplets of blood trickle down the side of his handsome face.

(Lolz I decided that Alexsei needed to play the damsel in distress for awhile XD)

Scott was shocked. That was all there was to it. Not only did Alexsei let him ride with him on the Arcanine, but his new friend even gave him a jacket to keep him warm!
Scott accepted it with shining eyes, muttered a small ‘thank you’, and hugging the warm jacket for just a moment before slipping his arms through the sleeves. He felt a warm rush of gracious affection for his friend’s generous actions – and at that moment Scott vowed that he’d have Alexsei’s back through thick and thin. Unless, of course, ‘thick’ involved ghost pokemon. Scott did not like ghost pokemon… They creeped him out.

Ignoring Alexsei’s harsh tone and cruel words, Scott hummer cheerfully to himself, singing under his breath, “Pokemon, gotta catch ‘em all… It’s you and me, I know it’s my destiny, oh you’re my best friend, in a world we must defend… Hmm, humdedum de hummm…”
Eventually he lost the lyrics, and just resorted to humming again, bopping his head slightly from side to side as the trusty Arcanine marched along.

After a while, Alexsei dismounted, and Scott followed suit. They had come to thin ice, so he did as he was told, and walked carefully in Alexsei’s footprints.
Everything was going great… Until the worst happened.
Scott uttered a cry of surprise as he saw Alexsei fall, and reached out his hand in vain – but Alexsei had vanished, and as the ice crumbled, Scott leaped backwards out of the way.
He lay where he had fallen a moment, panting, eyes wide in shock.
Then he crawled carefully to the edge, and peered down at Alexsei, who was just starting to come to.
“Hey!” He called quietly, taking care not to disrupt the ice with his voice, “You okay down there?”
He swallowed nervously, and shuffled back an inch, taking a pokeball from his pocket. “Ooooh, please work…” He murmured to himself, kissing the little orb, then throwing it into the air.
“Charizard, I choose you!”
The glorious dragon emerged into the sky with a roar, but Scott quickly hushed it. “I know it’s cold, buddy.” He said bracingly, “But bear with me, we can’t put any more weight on this ground!”
He drew in a deep breath, praying for obedience, and when Charizard didn’t land out of spite as he’d feared, he threw a second pokeball high into the air.
“Bayleaf, lend us a hand!”
The pokemon burst majestically out of the pokeball, then, with an alarmed squeal, began flailing like a beached magikarp as it felt itself fall.
“Bayleaf, vine whip around Charizard, pull yourself up!” Scott yelled quickly.
The startled pokemon obeyed, but as soon as it was hanging safely, it irritably spared another wine to whip Scott across the face.
“HEY!” He exclaimed, rubbing his sore cheek, “Good thing you have so many vines, you little-“
He fell silent at the look on Bayleaf’s face, and gestured to the hole beside him.
“Vine whip down here.” He said, “But be careful, he might be hurt. I want you to wrap your vines around him and lift him up. Then Charizard, fly him to safety – and be careful with your tail. I’ll meet you guys there. Make me proud!”
His pokemon nodded obediently, and set to work carrying out his commands while Scott watched anxiously.

Alexsei looked up at Scott’s panicked face as it peered into the deep crevice, “Yeah, I’m fine…Shit I don’t think I can get out of here” The Russian growled as he stared at the perfectly smooth walls and his swollen wrist.
To his surprise Scott had already thought up a rescue plan and it wasn’t long before the silhouette of a Charizard and a Bayleaf came into view, hovering over the crevice.
Alexsei squinted up at the strange combination of Pokémon, at first he wasn’t entirely sure how this odd sight would help him, but as Bayleaf’s vines extended down towards him he understood what to do.
The Russian got to his feet, his body felt stiff and pained slightly, but he allowed Bayleaf’s vines to snake securely around his waist. Then almost on queue Charizard rose higher into the sky, while Bayleaf retracted It’s vines pulling Alexsei out of the crevice.
The Russian was grateful to be out of that damn hole, but felt ashamed at his moment of vulnerability. It just made him feel weak and he didn’t like to depend on others for help.

A while later Alexsei stood opposite the ice field, his ultramarine eyes locked onto the Charizard carrying Scott safely across the thin ice. The Russian knew that he owed the kid his thanks, but Pride kept him silent. Instead he focused on releasing his Arcanine, so that when Scott did arrive at least they could travel as soon as possible. In a flash of light Reaper leaped through air, bolting cheerfully through the snow before skidding to a halt before Alexsei. The arcanine was clearly pleased to see it’s master, though it sense something was not quite right. The massive dog stared at Alexsei thoughtfully before tenderly licking the teen’s “sprained” wrist. The boy flinched slightly before reassuring his Pokémon, “It’s nothing serious…I’ll get over it” he stated calmly glancing down at the revolting blue bruise that stretched across his forearm, it looked extremely swollen and painful. But he decided to ignore it, he wouldn’t show anymore weakness.

A while later, Charizard came back for Scott, and lifted him carefully in its claws. Scott tried to crawl onto Charizard’s back, but the pokémon tightened its grip on his shoulders, and Scott gave up and hung there limply, grumbling mutinously to himself. Of course, his Charizard would torment him with the indignity of being carried like prey… He sighed heavily, and rolled his eyes.

Then they reached Alexsei, and Scott’s expression brightened for just a moment, before Charizard released him in mid-air, and he fell heavily to the ground.
He broke his fall with his shoulder, and rolled to find his feet again, then shouted a few insults at his highly-amused Charizard before returning it to its pokéball.
He clipped the pokéball to his belt with an irritable huff, then turned to Alexsei with a smile, hiding his concern out of fear for the Russian’s harsh expression.
“Well, shall we go?” He suggested, “I’ll give you a boost.” He said, gesturing to the Arcanine, “I mean, I’m sure you’d be able to get up on your own, but with your wrist like that, it would just be quicker.” He shrugged, then cupped his hands to help boost Alexsei onto the Arcanine. No doubt his friend would be displeased, but he’d just have to suck it up until they reached a hospital…

Alexsei glared at Scott’s cupped hands, feeling slightly annoyed that he needed help to mount his own Pokémon. He threw a look of dissatisfaction at his bruised wrist before turning his head to face Scott, “Whatever…let’s just get going” he grumbled irritably as he allowed Scott to boost him onto the Arcanine.
The trio then headed through the deep mountain pass, traveling quickly to make up for lost time. It wasn’t long however before the route became more ground than snow and little flecks of green life began poking out of the ground in odd places.
More wild Pokemon also started to appear as the group began to enter the forest edge and the trio often caught sights of small groups of skittish Stantler or sun bathing Oddish
Alexsei felt uncomfortable in the presence of so much foliage, he felt as though team Rocket were watching him and waiting to attack from behind every tree. The slate haired teen turned his attention to Scott, trying to distract himself from his paranoia. “Magenta Town is up ahead, you can see it in the distance from where we stand” he stated factually.

A while later Alexsei and Scott arrived at the Town’s entrance. Alexsei called back his Arcanine, then clipped the Pokeball securely to his belt before treading into the busy little mountain town.
There were quite a few people walking about the streets and the Russian had to keep an eye on Scott to ensure that he wouldn’t lose him in the crowds. “This town is usually never this busy…I don’t like this” Alexsei growled suspiciously as people bumped passed him to do their shopping.
The Russian glared at the people surrounding him, making a small child cry in the process.
“I can’t take this, I’m getting Pissed…Let’s find the Pokémon Center” He stated irritably as he pushed through a group of giggling girls. He wasn't dealing well with so many people and the dizzyness that had occured from his fall wasn't helping his temper in the slightest.

(Poor Alexsei-Fluff does not like people LOLZ XD...Thankfully his got a Scott, *Swoons*)

"Hey, relax." Scott consoled, smiling confidently at Alexsei, and walking half a stride ahead of his friend to help clear the way. He was used to crowds, and knew how to deal with them. "Just look straight ahead. I know it gets a bit much..." Scott advised sympathetically, "I can see the Pokemon centre just over the hill. We'll be there sooner than you think."
He lead the way to the Pokemon centre, and pushed Alexsei through the doors, then followed after him, and walked straight up to nurse Joy.
"Looking full of Joy today." He greeted the woman jokingly, and after pausing a moment to allow for her laugh, he added, "My friend here's hurt. Looks like he's banged up his wrist pretty bad - reckon you could help us out?"
"We usually only work with Pokemon," Said Nurse Joy, shaking her head apologetically, "But there's a hospital just down the road."
"Good stuff." Scott replied with a grin, "Would you give our Pokemon a quick look-over, then?"
He unbuckled his belt, and gently dropped his team of pokeballs onto the counter.
"Alexsei," He called, waving his friend over, "Wanna get your Pokemon healed real quick?"

Alexsei watched silently as Scott confidently took the lead, heading straight towards the Pokémon Centre. The Russian boy didn’t understand Scott’s personality in the slightest, one moment he was a total goof and the next he was….was there actually a word for what Scott was.
Alexsei shook his head in an attempt to clear his thoughts; it was weird for him to think about other people, let alone another guy.
“I’m completely relaxed…I just don’t like people” he murmured absent mindedly as they entered the Pokémon Centre.
Alexsei didn’t bother to greet the Nurse; instead he left the talking up to Scott; who ironically had already opened the conversation with a joke. The Russian glared at the nurse out of the corner of his eye as he watched the two chat from a slight distance. He clearly resented her for some unknown reason; perhaps it was the overly friendly way in which she spoke with Scott.
Alexsei turned his head towards them upon hearing his name, “I don’t need to go to Hospital, it’s just a bruise...It’ll heal on its own” he stated stubbornly as he unclipped his belt holding all his Pokeballs before passing it to the nurse. She nodded politely before speaking a sickly sweet voice, “You can pick up your Pokémon tomorrow” Alexsei mumbled his thanks before pulling up his hood and heading out into the street. He glanced around the town curiously, not really interested in anything in particular, but suddenly eyeing an ice-cream parlor at the end of the street. He looked at Scott momentarily before slowly making a beeline for the Ice-Cream shop. Once the two teenagers where inside the shop, they headed towards the counter to place their orders. Alexsei glanced at the tubes of Italian ice-cream, he looked strangely happy, but didn’t smile as he placed his order. “I’ll have an Italian strawberry sundae…Scott you order whatever you want” the Russian added over his shoulder.

Scott left his Pokemon with nurse Joy, and totted quickly after Alexsei – following amiably, and not particularly caring where they’d end up.
Much to his surprise, they ended up in an ice-cream parlour…
Scott’s eyes widened, and he blinked in surprise. Of all the places he had expected Alexsei to go, he had never imagined it to be somewhere so… ‘Sweet’.
He was still in shock even when Alexsei told him to place his order, but this soon caused him to regroup.
“Score!” He exclaimed with a grin, “I’ll have a double chocolate with hot fudge sauce and tiny marshmallows.” Scott informed the waiter with shining eyes.
Then, glancing uncertainly at Alexsei, “You’re paying, right? Because Dude,” He laughed unconcernedly, “I’m like, totally broke.”
He snickered, then trotted over to the nearest table, grabbing Alexsei’s good wrist to drag him along.
He plonked himself down at the table, then sat there twiddling his thumbs while he eagerly awaited his ice cream.

Alexsei rolled his eyes, “Yeah, I figured as much…” he stated unconcernedly. “Whatever…I suppose we can call it my treat” he added indifferently as Scott led him by the sleeve to the nearest table.
The Russian sat down awkwardly, suddenly realizing the odd amount of couples sitting near him. It suddenly hit him that two guys walking into an ice-cream parlor designed for couples probably wasn’t going to send out the correct message.
The Russian turned his attention to Scott, he didn’t want to catch the eye of any onlookers. The situation just felt too messed up, He had come in here Ice-cream nothing more…This wasn’t a date so it didn’t need to feel strange. (So He tells himself..but we know the truth XD)
The waitress soon arrived bringing the two delicious ice-cream sundaes to the table. Alexsei nodded his thanks as his pinkish colored sundae was place before him. He watched it curiously, eyeballing the tiny slices of strawberry that poked out beneath the ice-cream. The slate haired boy slowly pulled down his hood, revealing his delighted expression. He suddenly looked a lot younger and less frightening, more like a child than the stone-hearted Jerk he actually was.
With some difficultly he managed to fumble a spoonful of the icy sweet substance in to his mouth. The difficulty mostly came from the fact that he had to use his left hand instead of his banged up right hand, but when it came to ice-cream few things stopped Alexsei from enjoying this occasional treat.
Alexsei nibbled another mouthful of ice-cream, this time coming across one of the hidden strawberry pieces. His striking eyes widened in delight and his cheeks flushed as the sweet and tangy taste melted in his mouth.
The Russian didn’t the couples in the background watching him, nor did he pay much attention to Scott on the other side of the table. For now it was just him and his ice-cream.

Scott didn’t even touch his sundae for the first five minutes after it arrived. He just stared at Alexsei in openmouthed disbelief, watching his cold, aloof friend transform into a starry-eyed child right before his eyes.
Alexsei’s expression was just… Priceless.
Scott felt his lips smile without his permission, and a faint blush crept up his cheeks as he gazed fondly at his friend.
“How’s the sundae, tough guy?” He asked with a smirk, bending to take a spoonful of his own, and watching Alexsei out of the corner of his eye.
He hadn’t realised that his friend could look so… So… Delighted. He found himself secretly wishing that, one day, Alexsei could look at him the way he looked at that sundae.
“You know,” He said, as he swallowed the final spoonful of delicious chocolate ice-cream, “I don’t think you’re as much of a douchebag as you’d have people believe.” He flashed a goofy grin, “I’ll bet you’re just a big softie, really.”

Alexsei caught Scott’s eye, suddenly he felt quite vulnerable and awkward in front of him. His Sundae was just about finished and he was quickly coming out of his ice-cream daze. The delighted expression on his face melted almost immediately after Scott spoke. “I’m not soft…You have no idea how cruel and ruthless I actually am, You think you’re my friend don’t you…well I don’t have any friends and I don’t want any” the Russian snarled defensively. A smudge of strawberry ice cream stood out against his pale pink flushed cheeks.
He didn’t like the fact that he was opening up to this guy so quickly, it filled him with a strange kind of feeling that he didn’t like.
“I’m done here…I guess I’ll see you around” he stated indifferently, getting up suddenly and padding over to the counter to pay.

“Oh, I know.” Scott chirped happily, following Alexsei to the counter, “And you don’t have to be my friend, but you’re not getting rid of me until I get that Cyan badge.” Scott flashed a grin, standing unconcernedly beside Alexsei, and humming the Pokemon song to himself. “But you know,” He went on cheerfully, “I am a good friend, so if you really do insist on pushing me away, you could be missing out.” He grabbed a napkin from the counter, and swiped the stray drip of strawberry ice-cream from Alexsei’s cheek. “But hey,” He shrugged airily, “It’s your choice, man. Just as soon as I’ve had my battle and earned my badge, I’ll he be happy. I’ll miss you, though.” He grinned, and elbowed Alexsei in the ribs, “You’re better company than you think, mister grumpy.”

Alexsei felt pain pulse through his body, It wasn’t as though Scott had elbowed his very hard, but the bump had aggravated an injury he had claimed from the fall in the mountains. (Lets just assume that Alexsei paid during their argument XD) Scott seemed to notice this immediately started to lead Alexsei out of the ice-cream parlor and to the nearest hospital.

Alexsei didn’t fight with Scott this time; he felt too dizzy and wasn’t even in the mood to argue. He nodded in reply before warily following Scott as they entered through the doors of Magenta Central Hospital. Alexsei was on high alert the moment he entered the crystal clean building; he didn’t trust doctors to much, mostly due to the fact that almost all the hospitals in the Kanto region were owned by His father’s corporation; Articuno.
Articuno was a company build up throughout generations of Ivanov family members, it expanded its influences over nearly every inch of the Kanto Region and even beyond that.
The Russian glared cautiously as one of the nurses at the front desk spoke to Scott; “Can I help you Sir?...I see…One Of our Doctors will be with you in a moment…Please take a seat in the waiting room ” she stated in cheerfully Polite tone.
The two boys were sent to the waiting room. Alexsei watched Scott out of the corner of his eye as he waited, he had been rude to this kid, but Scott seemed to stick to his side…perhaps it was only because he wanted a Gym Badge. The slate haired boy shrugged indifferently, he didn’t care. (Or did he XD)

A few minutes later Alexsei and Scott were lead into the doctor’s room. The doctor who addressed them was an older man, in about his late thirties by the name of Jordan. He spoke kindly to the two teenagers, though it was undoubtedly clear that he knew Alexsei, “The nurse tells me you’ve had quite the fall Alexsei…Do you mind if I take a look?…You don’t need to glare at me like I’m some stranger…come on take the shirt off, I need to examine the damage”
Alexsei growled irritably, he hadn’t expected to run into his family doctor, but he was glad that he at least sort of knew the person examining him. The Russian watched Scott out of the corner of his eye as he removed the layers of heavy clothing, tossing them carelessly in a pile on the floor. Eventually he stood shirtless, his muscular chest and arms pulsing beneath his icy cold skin, a large reddish blue bruise snake down the side of his torso. The doctor took a while to examine Alexsei, “You’ve defiantly broken your wrist, It’ll need to be set and then placed in a cast…as for your Ribs, they don’t seem broken, but you’ve bruised them quite severely.” Alexsei didn’t look too concerned, “Just fix them so that I can get out of this place” he stated bluntly.
The Doctor nodded obediently giving Alexsei an injection to stop the pain and then setting to work quickly on the boy’s wrist, his eyes occasionally darting towards the intricate winged Celtic cross tattoo that enveloped the Alexsei’s left shoulder. The doctor spoke to Scott over his shoulder as he worked, “So who are you?…a friend of Alexsei?… Or perhaps you’ve brought him back for the reward?”

“What reward?”
Realizing he sounded a little too curious, Scott gave a sheepish chuckle, and grinned reassuringly at Alexsei, “Don’t worry, buddy, I’d never turn you in.” He smiled warmly, and thumped a fist to his heart, as though to demonstrate his loyalty. “No, I’m just following Alexsei until I get my final badge so I can compete in the Jhoto league.” Scott said with an eager grin, “But seriously, what reward? I wanna know.”
He glanced curiously from Alexsei to the doctor and back again.
“Alexsei, are you wanted?! That’s so cool!” He grinned Scottishly at the doctor, “My new friend’s a badass.” He bragged, smirking proudly.
