winged wolves have been hunted to the point of there are few left.Most of the winged ones hide from the world tring to keep what little numbers safe.theirs always one who has to play though.

Ice soared through the skies, beating his large, blue tipped wings as he cut through the air at amazing speeds. He slowed as he approached a warm thermal, a column of rising air. He drifted lazily up it, paying no attention to the forest beneath him. he closed his eyes, enjoying the feeling of the wind rushing through his fur.
That's when a bullet missed him by inches. He pulled out of his trance and flew out of the thermal, tucking his wings is and diving towards the ground, opening his wings at the last minute to decelerate rapidly and land softly on the ground beneath the trees. The forest floor was dappled with sunlight as he sprinted away from the hunters, echoing bangs sending birds scattering from their perches, deer jumping off into the ferns and rabbits scattering in all directions back into their burrows.

Ruby's head snapped up at hearing the gunfire.her fur bristaled at the though of having more humans in the forest again

Ruby Kicked off the the ground an speed throught the underbrush .Some human was going to pay for waking her up

Ice growled, bearing his sharp, razor-edged teeth as he ran. He skidded to a halt as the bangs grew louder and louder, and turned tail and headed towards the noise. He took a slow path through the bushes and ferns, stalking towards the hunters which were now in vision. He kicked off, long claws bared and leapt onto the first human, his fangs burrowing themselves in his neck. As the man fell to the ground, he leapt to the next man, the one bearing the gun that attempted to shoot him. He killed him too, but was pinned to the ground by a dog that was on the end of a huge chain. He struggled against his claws and teeth, but the dog paused. He smelt another coming close. Ice took this as an opportunity, and sank his fangs into his neck, jolting his head sharply to the left. There was a sickening crack, and the dog went limp on top of him.

Ruby leaped out an pined an human to see another wolf under a dog.she snapped at it

Angel's head snapped up when she heard snarling and growling.She took of running towards the sound to find a dead dog,2 dead humans and 2 winged wolves like herself.Her mouth dropped open because she thought she was the only winged wolf around.

Ice heaved the dead body of the dog off of his chest and turned to look at the wolves. He straightened his posture, and flexed his wings proudly, fanning out his feathers. The bodies of the men lat around him, blood seeping out of their wounds. Some of his white fur was stained with scarlet blood, but he did not care. He'd keep killing humans if they came, whatever it took to keep the forest safe and himself alive.

Angel smiled and said,"My name is Death Angel,but you can call me Angel."She laughed to herself when she thought about the death that had just happened and then here she comes and her name is Death Angel.

Ruby looked at the other two wolves .since when did more like her come here.ruby sighed

'The name's Ice. Or IceClaw if you really want to say that much.' He chuckled, folding his wings by his sides. He looked at the tho wolves for a moment.

She smiled"rubyfang ruby for short."she swished her tail around to her side

Angel looked at the humans and wondered aloud,"I wonder why they were hunting in these woods?I thought this was kinda like a reservation of sorts."She said.

She looked at the other which looked like a fae like her."not any more i guess.hunting season"

Angel tensed,"Well I can't wait for another one try to come in here hunting."She said coldly.

Ice shook his head. 'Humans do not care about rules. One thing I have learned in life.' He raised a paw to the scar across his left eye.

Angel looked at the scar for only a moment,before looking back down."Well all I know is they're fair game if they're hunting us."She said.

Ice growled softly. 'They have hunted our kind to near extinction. I will not go like my fathers, down the barrel of a gun. If i am to die, I am to die fighting.'

ruby growled her agree ment "my mother made me hide while she got shot.im fighting this time'

Ice nodded. 'We are few, you are the only other wolves I know of. I have met no one in my isolation.'
