Sonic and Sage

I looked back when he barked and saw he was sitting there in the middle of the path.So I sat where I was and tilted my head to the side,watching him questionably.

I turned my head back towards the car and back at her. I barked and stomped my paw impatiently. We needed to leave. We couldn't stay in here all day. Besides, I didn't want to say I got beat by a girl.

I sighed,got up and started back towards the car.

I changed back to my human form and got to the car before he did.So I went ahead ,got in,and turned the radio on.I started to sing along as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3TLu5uocX8 came on.

I waited for her to get in as I changed. I got in and looked at her singing along to something on the radio. I laughed and looked in the mirror, i had a cut on my face from the fight, but that would heal before we got back to school.

I turned the radio down when he got in then asked the question that had been bothering me for awhile,"So what was that fight about?"

I pulled out of the woods and on to the main road before I answered, "He was mad that I had invited you. It has really put a strain on the pack, almost divided us in two. He feels that you need to prove yourself to be able to be a part of us. Where as, me and a few others feel that it shouldn't matter how you became a werewolf, but that you are one." I explained.

I said,"Oh."then a couple of seconds later I added,"And how would I 'prove' myself worthy of being in the pack?"

"I know it sounds crazy, and I'm not supposed to be telling you this, but tonight Jay is going to challenge you to a fight." I said. "So I'm taking you out to my place to help you train tonight."

I looked at him like he had grown a second head,"Your kidding,right?"I asked hopefully.

I looked over to, took a deep breath, then turned my head back to the road. "I wish I was, but he knows you're not ready, so that why he was going to challenge you now." I said.

I bit my lower lip,"There's no way of getting out of the fight,and still being able to stay in the pack is there?"

"Not any way at all." I said as I pulled into my driveway.

I sighed and slumped back in my seat,with a scowl on my face."This so isn't fair."I mumbled to myself.

I sat there with the car off while it sank into her head. "Come on mutt." I said trying to lighten the mood.

I smiled,"I don't know how your calling mutt because I'm a purebred lycanthropy."I said teasingly as I got out of the car.

I smiled and got out. "We'll practice in the back yard." I said as I opened the front door for her. "But first, my mom wants to meet you. "

"Why?"I asked instantly nervous again.As he had said earlier,half the pack didn't care if I stayed but the other half did.

"Don't worry, she's cool." I said with a smile. I motioned for her to come in and I stepped in behind her. I drooped my bag by the door and slid my keys into my pocket before calling for my mom.

I wanted to run,but I settled for pretty much hiding behind him.When it come to my friends I sociably but that's only because they started talking to me first other than that I was anti-social.Bitting my lower lip I waited for his mom to come in and see her son hanging out with the pack outcast.

I smiled when I came into the room. She complete ly past me and went straight to Kitty. "Oh you must be Katherine!" she said as she gave an akward hug. I laughed. "Ma! I'm home too!" I siad. She came over and hugged me too. "She's here to train right?" She whispered. I nodded my head yes. She kissed my cheek then patted my chest before leaving.

I watched as she leaved then looked over at Evan,"Why can't the rest of the pack be that welcoming?"I asked because I was shocked at how nice his mom was.

"Because my mom is a nut." I siad with a slight laugh. I took her hand and pulled her through the house to the back door. I went out and changed and then waited for Kitty.

I sighed before I changed then I walked a couple of steps towards him before stopping.I tipped my head to the side with a 'what now?' look.
