I raged across the skies, my hooves pounding against an invisible floor. Every beat erupted into a clap of thunder, and my mane splayed out beside me, striking stray objects on the world below me. I loved these times, when I could be free, and let it all loose. Not an inch of me cared for the safety of the mortals.

The grand duke galloped in time with the thunder. He stopped, gazing up at the sky. His ebony mane and plume flew behind him in the roaring wind. He raised up on two legs, beating the air with his front hooves as thunder broke. He slammed his hooves down and went on galloping, tossing his head with pure joy. Oh, how glorious the drake was, running, free as the eagle in the great wild blue skies.

I glanced downwards briefly, and spotted another galloping along to the raging storm. I snorted in surprise, skidding to an abrupt halt. Blue skies drained in from the west, the little clouds were all white and perfectly fluffy. Rearing, I let out an almighty neigh, and one last thunder clap broke, before the sun banished me to mortal worlds once more.

The baron halted, looking up at the ending storm. He let out a whinny of farewell, and went on galloping. As he continued, the andreneline the storm had gave him had faded, and he slowed. Finally, he stopped all together. Looking around, he sighed and lowered his head to graze. The grass was delicious, as it always was after a storm. Feeling refreshed he continued on, shaking his mane in delight at the glorious day.

I had released all my contained urges, so I walked among the mortals as my black mare form. I grazed for a short while, trying to regain my energy. Finding the grass usless to my power-hungry needs, I trotted along, flicking the flies that obnoxiously hovered around me in the 'new' sun.

Spirit lifted his head and cocked his ears. He could somewhat detect a presence of another horse, but it was distant. He trotted in the direction he thought it was coming from, ears erect in case of a whinny or indication it was a horse.

I snorted casually as I came upon a river. I drank for a little while, but raised my head when I smelled the scent of another, approaching me.

He reached a river, bending over to drink it's sweet liquid. Looking up he noticed another on the opposite bank. He realized this must be the horse he had sensed. This horse was....different. He shook his mane and whinnied to the stranger.

I turned my head to look at the stallion, replying with a short nicker. I lowered my head and began to drink. While I had my head lowered, I took a glance at him. Flicking my tail, I raised my head again. 'Hello.'

He watched the other horse carefully, then deep baritone vocals flew from his maw. "Hello." He said, flicking his tail at pesky flies whizzing about.

I waited for a while, judging my next move. 'What brings you to these lands?' I snorted.

Swishing his ebonite tail, the duke gazed at the duchess. "It is a very long story." He said with a hint of a smile. There was no need to bore the maiden to death with his tale.

Aq {pronounced~Ak} snorted as she trotted through the dense woods toward the river. She was focused on Thunder Child, here friend since childhood. Weaving her way through the thick treetrunks, she stopped at the edge of the forest. Tilting her head a bit, she wondered who Thunder Child could be meeting. Aq scooted her front hooves out, tossing her head wildly and pawing the ground.

I turned my delicate head to see Aq not too far away. I nickered to her, before turning my head back to the stallion. 'We have time.'

Aq shook her head gently. She entered their presence, trying not to diturb them on purpose. Pretending to be drinking water from the river, she carefully danced on the pebbles in the river, making her way to the middle.

[Ehh...Rivvi, i hate to tell you this, but in the "other" part of your descprition you put "Aq is friends with Thunder Child and Spirit of the West," and that's considered powerplaying. I get to choose who my characters friends are ]

With a toss of his great head, he began to tell his tale. "Well...it began in the mountainous land I called home...." From there he proceeded to tell the stranger of the wonderous grassland and majestic mountains. His eyes glazed over at the memories, darkening when he got to the part of which he was taken from his herd and sent to a camp, where they beat him and starved him. He quickly skimmed over the horrific details, and continued on to the Native Americans he had met, and the train. Oh, how he loathed this part of the story. He finally ended. "And that is how I ended up on this exact riverbank opposite of you." He flicked his tail. "Oh, forgive me. I did not introduce myself." He lowered his head. "I am Spirit of the West, or just Spirit, if you will."

I snorted, finding his story quite interesting. I'd never come across a mortal with such determination in their heart. 'And I am Thunder Child. I go by Thunder.' That was quite literally true. 'You have courage.' I admitted, nodding slightly.

He nodded, flicking his tail. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Thunder Child. And thank you." He looked up at the sky. "Hmm...clear blue skies." He murmured.

I smiled. 'I'm sure the storm will return....in time. I'm sure she needs a rest.' I chuckled.

[The train is the worst part But I love the song 'Sound the Bugle']

He nodded. "I've never heard anyone personify the storm"

'Neither have I. But she's a living thought, like you and I.' I said, smiling.

He smiled at this. "Indeed she is." He flicked his ears at a pesky fly. "Stupid flies." He grumbled, pawing at the ground.
