His dark red eyes shone in amusement. Sure, it might be an odd way to introduce her to the real world... but he couldcouldnt resist toying with her mind.
But as she fell back, scattering her things on the sponge-like ground that attributed for his silent pace, he moved them around in a pile with his snout. He could hardly speak to her, besides in mind, and then again, she would not understand...
So he just watched her intently, cocking his head ever-so-slightly...

I stared at the beast, not daring to move. So the rumors were true...there were wolves in the forest! And my god they were huge. "What are you...?" I ventured, not really expecting an answer.
