I just don't know what to do with myself (Arby come)

I woke up with a start. Did I really just fall asleep with a werewolf? I couldn't belive myself. I groaned and stood up, hitting my head on the ceiling. I swore under breath and sat at the mouth of the cave.

I had my back to the opening of the cave and it had rained so much that the moisture put out the flames and if i tried to flare up again, well it wouldnt end too well. Now i was just a sleeping, russet, 250 pound wolf under a rock

God, it was cold out. I shivered and looked at Jake. Was he asleep? I couldn't tell. It had started raining again, so I retreated until I was almost touching him. I sighed.

I felt her presence and lifted my head slightly and looked back at her, "You alright?" I asked tiredly

"Just cold." I sighed and leaned against him.

I sighed and yawned. "Well since its too wet out for fire, all i got left is body heat" I told her and laid my head down again, "If i flare up now..well its not good at all "

I sighed. "This is good. You're really hot." I said sleepily, not realizing what it sounded like.

"Thats the werewolf side" I said softly and soon fell asleep. The next morning i ended up curled around her trapping the heat around us

When I woke up, it was swelterung. "Ugh." I moaned. "Get offa me, please."

The sudden movement right at the moment in my dream sent me starting awake and i jumped up and smacked my head on the top of the rock we were laying under and little bits of rock crumbled up and i yelped. "Owww" I groaned and shook out my head

"Jesus Christ, you're heavy." I muttered. "Did I scare you, much?"

"A little" I grumbled still a bit woozy from the bump. "ugh i hate mornings"

"Same." I groaned. "I'm gonna stay here for a while."

"Alright..im uh goin hunting. I havent eaten in a week, you-uh want anything?" I asked and walked towards the door to the cave. once i cleared it i stretched up on my back legs and groaned as my spine shifted and cracked

"One werewolf who killed y sister." I muttered. "Naw, I'm good for a couple weeks."

"Alright, cant promise that yet" I said and bounded off to look for food

I sighed and glanced at a reflective puddle. I was paler than ever, and there were dark splotches under my eyes. My normally dark blue eyes were almost clear, something that happened when a werewolf was near. I shuddered and turned away. God, one day without Laura and I was already like this...

I had come back and was bounding with energy and slid to a sloppy stop in front of the cave. "Come on lets go run" I said with a breathless smile. "Come on come on come on!" I jumped on all fours with a big smile

"Did some one find their frisbee?" I teased and jumped on him. "Carry me!" Like a little kid.

I was like a puppy on crack now. I spun around kicking up mud and i took off into the woods with a sloppy gait. Food drove me insane when i had it after not eating for a long time

"Giddyup!" I slapped his rump, laughing, the damp woods having an intoxicating effect on me. I kicked his sides, pretending I was a cowboy.

I barked and howled as i ran, i bucked a little and started chasing rabbits keeping with their zigzag paths

I hung on for dear life, afraid I'd fall and be trampled underneath that running mass of fur and claws.

I finally slid to a stop still giddy and was looking around huffing and puffing like a stir-crazed thoroughbred after a good race. "I need something to chase" I huffed
