Kat and me

conner watched as all the girls ran and dove into the water, the girl he had been talking to was far ahead, swimming now deeper into the water. He watched as she swam fast, obviously she was either on a team or was in the water a lot in her spare time, which could be true, considering the bech was so close.

I slowed down so the other girls could catch up then I stayed swimming with them because I didn't want to cheat.

I watched her slow to stay with the others, she was obviously fair, and nice, iIthought, as she didnt want to cheat or be ahead unfairly. I wondered if she would win now, that she had been so far ahead but stopped and let others catch up, then didnt go ahead again.

Me and my Bff made it onto the shore at the same time and I fell to the ground and started laughing. "I don't want to do that again,now I'm tired."I said on a yawn and closed my eyes to soak in the sun.

I watched when she and another girl finished, she layed down and closed her eyes, looking tired. I smiled slightly, then turned my attention back to the crystal clear water, seeing sea weed and small snails stuck to a grouping of rocks off to the side.

I sat up and looked around.He was still here but in the water.I went out to the water and stopped behind him."Hey."

I turned, the girl had scared me, "Oh hi," i said with a smile, realizing I still didnt know her name, and that could be helpful. "I never caught your name, what is it?" I asked, smiling now, relaxed.

"Allison."I said on a laugh when I realized I had startled him."What about you?"

"Nice name," I said, then remembering to add, "Conner," with a smile, "You scared me," I said with a laugh, looking over at her friends quickly who where whispering to each other.

"Thanks,and I know."I said smugly but still smiled.

I laughed, "Your welcome," i said with a grin, watching the girl, allison, studying her face, "So where do you live, allison?" i asked.

"In a house on a hill."I said smiling.

"Descriptive," I said with a smile, "Where is this hill of yours?" i asked.

"Close to town by a cemetery."I said on a laugh.

I nodded, smiling, "Alright, fair enough, even though theres pleanty of cemetaries around here. I live over there," I said while pointing to a street right next to the bach, "I live close by," I said with a smile.

"The cemetery I live next to contains the graves of the people who started this town.As a matter of fact I'm the great granddaughter of one of them."I said to help him out.Then added,"Lucky you I've always wanted to live close to the beach."

"cool," conner said with a quick smile, "Well i really dont know which cemetary that is, but cool anyways. I loe to live near the beach, its nice, but colder in the winters." he added

I shrugged,"You should see Halloween at my place.My room over looks the cemetery and it's always fun to watch little kids try to act brave when they walk through the cemetery."I laughed,"A couple years ago some of my friends and I scared some kids so bad they cried and ran home."

Conner laughed, "I wish i had seen that," he said, smiling. the water was slowly beggining to feel warmer, so it wasnt freezing cold. He smiled, his hands lightly brushing the top of the water.

I shrugged and laughed.I couldn't think of anything else to say or ask so I waited for him to pick up the conversation ball.
