I leat against the lockers in school, chewing on some gum absent-mindedly. Other people were around me, some vampires, some humans. Either way they were my crowd. My crowd. I ran my tongue over my teeth, getting some frightening looks from students who were brave enough wander past me.

[I'm actually changing his name to Donovan; Rhys is way to sweet to do this ]

I walked past that punk devenomed vampire, the one that'd killed what, five people? I snorted and glanced at her face before plopping myself down into a chair. I turned around to face her, watching her run her tongue along her teeth. I would have taken this differently from any other girl - especially Shae - but I had no idea what to make of this chick.


Shae:
I winked at Donovan when he walked past me. I was wearing my pink outfit today, the tight gray sweatpants with PINK written across my butt. I got some admiring glances from the stupid humans and I shot them smiles, flashing my fangs at them. They quickly withered back.

I raised my eyebrows at the human, before flashing him a brief grin, flashing my fangs for a mere second, before walking off, everyone in tow. I don't know what it was about that other vampire girl, she creeped me out too much to mention. I scoffed at how tough they all acted, especially in front of me, like anyone could even match my destruction.

(I'm sorry but I cannot help thinking Donovan in an Australian accent xD)

I ignored everyone's stares and took my seat at the back, leaning far back on my chair and putting my feet on the desk, inhaling deeply and stretching. Everyone else sat around me, looking just as relaxed. I barley listened to anyone else, I enjoyed being in a world of my own.

I shot the girl - Alex, that was her name - one last curious glance before the lesson started, Dusk was beginning to settle and I sighed, enjoying the comfort of the nighttime. I preffered nightschool to dayschool.

I snorted as Doonovan continued to goggle at that hoodlum. I hated her with a passion. I was nearly twice as old as her - I had nearly twice the expirience she did. And that showed through my ability to kill without being caught. A small grin of satisfaction crept up on my face and I sat back like a contented, lazy cat.

I could see that other girl eying me up, I exchanged glances with her, I could guess something she was thinking. I knew she thought she was hard, that she had more 'knowledge' of vampirism than I, but I liked to think I was the best. As for that other kid, whom I couldn't be bothered to find out the name of, was starting to spark my curiosity.

[i]I continued to glance the other girl over but paid attention to what the teacher was saying.

I glared at the other girl, Alexis or something like that, and burned my eyes into her back. I hoped she could feel my hatred. We'd settle this like vampires...

I looked directly at the boy, who was looking at me. I widened my eyes a little, folding my arms and directed my gaze away to whatever crappy posters hung on the walls.

Desc: two heads shorter than Shazza (she barely breaks the 5'5 bar), almond-shaped eyes, and a burgundy pixie-cut. Light skin, Italian origin. Though she's a vampire, she's an uncommonly kind person, and a bit of a daredevil. Gets along with nearly everyone, and is Shazza's best friend. A self-proclaimed bisexual, and loves to tease others, to Shazza's exasperation. (lmao)

Raye leaned over the back of her seat to stare at the feisty triangle. "You guys gonna start doing each other before the bell or something?" She grinned, winking in mock-seduction. "I don't mind, as long as you let me join in. I'm a fan of 'that sort of thing'. Rawr."

Shazza, on her left side, snorted at that, but made no other comment aloud, attention focused on the material. Vampires.

[Sorry, I totally worded that the wrong way xD They are allowed to feed on animals, and only willing humans, but are banned on turning anyone, or killing anyone via drinking. Sorry xD]

I stared ahead at her and rolled my eyes, uttering a barely audible Uugh..., grimacing. "Are you thick or something?" She snapped, suddenly eggy.

[Oh, okay, that makes more sense xD]

She grinned at her winningly from upside down. "Thick, hot, and interested, actually. Let's go out, you and me."

I snorted a laugh. "I don't think so." This girl was really starting to bug me. I crossed my legs over on the desk and pulled my phone out of my pocket, just looking for something else to do. No messages. Crap. Sighing, I put it back in my pocket and chewed my gum, totally bored.

Raye gave a quiet theatrical sigh, knuckles to her brow in that "wistful maiden" way. "Oh, yet another beauty that cannot see past her enormous front teeth," she mused, to no one in particular.

Shazza, nose-deep in her book, muttered, "Perhaps she's having a worse time seeing over your enormous arse, J-lo."

Mock surprise. "Ooh, ya, didn't think of that." She winked at the annoyed girl again, and gave her...generous...bottom a bit of a wiggle in her seat. She couldn't give up the opportunity. "Like whatcha see, toots?"

I frowned, mid-chew, mouth open slightly. The boys around me started to laugh, and I soon joined in. "I'm sorry, what?"

Raye just giggled along, pleased at her reaction. That look had been classic.

"Quiet down, or it's extra homework," snapped the teacher. (Shazza just shook her head. "You tease," she hissed, lip quirking. Raye slapped a quick five with a guy sitting next to her.) She turned around hastily. "After school, by the front doors, I'll pick you up," she whispered quickly, waggling her eyebrows again to show that she was only jesting.

I snorted another laugh, rolling eyes. The teacher's words were barely listened to by either myself or anyone around me, like I'd do any of the homework she'd set anyway. I could always go and re-do highschool, not like I wanted to or anything.

Raye balanced her pencil across her nose, thinking on how great the day had been. High School was no joke, but it was worth the effort to get up every morning and make friends anyway. Even with high-born prissy types like the one behind her, or old-world 'specialties' like Shazza, the wisest person she knew.

And there was the bell.

"CLASS DISMISSED!" She cried, and glomped her around the neck enthusiastically. Shazza grunted noncommittally. "I shall commence the Almighty Embarrassing Food Dance if thou doest not eat with me, Tall and Scary One."

"There's no point in telling you to bugger off, is there?" Shazza stood and stretched, fingertips almost brushing the ceiling. "I'll carry you there if you don't do it."

"Don't be such a stick, Shaz. Wonder if Miss Alex and company would like to join us?"

Almost instantly I was out of my seat, the bell still ringing as I was out the door, followed by the others. "Go do what you want, I'm goin' up to the woods." They nodded, understanding this as a command rather than a request. They sauntered off, heading somewhere I didn't particularly care about. I, on the other hand, walked outside, heading out into the grounds.
