Sage and I :]

Sammy sat paying half attention to what the teacher was saying and half to the gym class that was going on outside,like every other girl in the class.But who could blame us when there were hot guys outside running around with out t-shirts on.When Mr.G. set the paper on my desk I stared at it blankly for a second before I realized it was an assignment,then I went back to looking out the window.

Nic looked out the window to see what all the girls were gawking at. He shook his head and looked down at the paper. He sighed and began working, seeing as he already knew most of this stuff. He finished and handed it in, then leaned back in his chair.

Mr.G. cleared his throat and said,"Girls."Every girl in the class blushed and started working on the paper.About 10 minutes later Sammy turned hers in then went back to looking out the window,but the guys weren't there anymore and the disappointment was clear as daylight on her face.

Nic looked over at her and laughed lightly. He shook his head again and went back to drawing. He wasn't sure what he was drawing until he was nearly finished. He blinked at the drawing of Sammy and quickly turned the page.

At the end of the class Mr.G gave us field trip permission slips for our parents to sign, apparently we needed to learn how flowers and stuff grew so we were going to go to a green house.Sammy rolled her eyes and stood up just as the bell rang.

Nic shoved his notebook in his bag and went to his next class, which was Language Arts. He again sat down in the back of class, and watched as the other kids filed in to the classroom.

Sammy went art,her favorite class,and found out that this year they got to paint one of the hallways in the school and that each student would get to design their own block.The teacher handed each student a sketch pad and told them to come up with some ideas.

They were told all they would be doing for the time being was read. He pulled out his book and started to read it.

Sammy was even happier when the art teacher told them that only this class was the class doing the project and they got to skip one class a day to work on the drawings.Mrs.Bell asked if anybody wanted to take the next period off so they could start working on their projects today and Sammy raised her hand.Those of them who raised there hands got pencils and headed to the hallway that they were to draw in.She selected a brick that was closer to the middle of the wall and began drawing just as the class bells rang again.

Nic picked up his bag and went to his next class, which was Math. He listened as the teacher droned on about this and that. He looked out the window that showed the hallway, and watched the art students out there. He noticed Sammy was out there, so he watched what she was doing. He hadn't taken art this year because he really didn't want to. Sure, he loved drawing and he was good at it, but he didn't like getting a grade on it.

Sammy stepped back so she could look at what she had so far.The drawing was good so far and she couldn't wait to color it in.

Nic stood in line to get his lunch, and then walked outside and set his tray down next to some of his friends. He happily began to eat and joke with them as boys tend to do.

Sammy got a bottle of water and an apple before she walked outside.She looked around before she went to stand with her friends.Before long she found herself in a contest to see who could do a triple cartwheel then a flip.Sammy was last and when her turn came she took a deep breath and started the cartwheel/flip combo.

Suddenly their conversation stopped as all the boys watched the girls contest. As Sammy went up, Nic turned in his seat to watch. His friend beside him muttered "Daam she's hot!" Nic smacked him in the arm, signaling he better shut up.

Sammy high-fived her friends after she was done,but before they could decide who would when aloud crash of thunder sounded just before it started pouring down rain.She quickly grabbed her stuff and ran like everyone else to the building.Sammy laughed when she got into the hallway,she was completely drenched.

Nic ran inside along with the rest of the school. When he got inside he shook the water out of his hair, and he and his friends went back into the hallway laughing.

Sammy has study hall for her next class and she walked to it after she stopped at her locker and used her jacket to dry off.

Nic sighed and headed off to class, happy his bag and its contents hadn't gotten soaked, unlike himself. He headed to study hall. Of course the teacher had a seating chart out, so he quickly found his seat, which was in the back corner of the classroom. He smiled at his good fortune.

Sammy just happened to have the seat next to Nic.She smiled at him then got her sketch book out and started doodling really random things.

He smiled back at her, then pulled out his own sketchbook from home and started to sketch a horse from memory. He really got into the drawing, and began to rapidly erase and then redraw, erase and then redraw, repeating the process over and over until he was satisfied with one part, then he would move onto the next.

Sammy glanced at what he was drawing and raised an eyebrow.She flipped to a new page in her sketch pad and wrote,wow thats really good!!!!!, then held the notebook so only he could see it.

He read it, then flipped his over to a blank page. 'Thanks, it's really not.' He held it up so she could see it

Sammy rolled her eyes and wrote,Ya it is,I know because I'm always right ( =

He laughed and shook his head. Sure you are.

well i am and it sure beats mine Sammy wrote then turned the page back so he could see it.
