Sammy swallowed and said,"He asked me what was going on between us, I said nothing,and he said that I was lying then hit me."she took a breath,"I ran towards the door,but he got me in his wolf form before I could get there."

He gripped the wheel so tight that his knuckles turned white. "And then he bit you." He said through his teeth.

She flinched at the memory and nodded.

"Nothing should happen for about a month, until the full moon. Possibly not until an eclipse, since he wasn't a 'pure-blood' werewolf,only an experiment. But there will be effects." He said grimly.

"Oh."she said with a shiver."If I do...go wolf,will I be as crazy as he was?"she had to know the answer to that question.

"We'll just have to hope you don't 'go wolf' but if you do, you shouldn't go that insane. With proper...care, you should be fine. But even I can't control myself entirely when I'm like that, so i can't guarantee anything."

"Great."she muttered.Sammy turned her head and looked at him."How are you feeling?"

He smiled at her. "Don't worry about me." He said, turning to face ahead.

"Why not?"she asked glancing at him.

"Cause you're the one who almost got their arm ripped off. Speaking of which, we need to take you to the hospital." He turned and kept going, a hospital coming up in the distance.

Sammy shuddered,she had never liked hospitals,but she quietly said,"Okay."

He glanced over at her. "they'll probably just clean and dress it, maybe a few stitches. Nothing serious."

She grinned over at him."Ya,I'm kinda afraid of needles to...so your going to probably have to hold my hand."

He smiled back. "That can be arranged." He said happily, parking the car and getting out, then opening her door.

"Um just one question,what do we say did this?They wouldn't believe a werewolf did and wolves don't really live around here."Sammy got out of the car as she said this.

"Stray dog?" He asked, his head tilted slightly.

"They might believe that..." she said as they walked into the hospital.

"But you might need to take a rabies test." He whispered to her, then walked up to the lady at the desk.

Sammy shivered as she walked into the hospital.After explaining to the receptionist that she had been attacked by a stray dog while out walking,Sammy was taken into a paient room.

Nic waited in the waiting room, pacing nervously. He really hoped she would be okay. He needed to get her to his mom. Maybe she could help, but right now all they could do was hope.

About a hour later Sammy came out the e.r doors.When she spotted Nic she smiled and held up her bandaged wrist."I didn't have to get a shot they just disinfected the bite."

Nic smiled. "Good, now let's go home and talk to my mom." He put his arm around her shoulders and kissed the top of her head.
