"Well, pleased to meet you, Maggie." Leon joked, shaking her hand with a goofy grin plastered on his face. "What else?" He prompted, offering an encouraging smile. "What do you like? What do you hate? I want to know you." He watched her attentively - a rare expression of interest complimenting his handsome features.

"You're definitely great with music." Leon agreed with an approving nod, "And from what I've seen of your drawings, those are pretty amazing, too. You've got talent, kid!" He chuckled, ruffling her hair playfully.
"And as for the water, I honestly don't like it much either. It's too... Wet." He wrinkled his nose distastefully, then chuckled to himself.

Leon considered Maggie's question for a moment, and decided eventually that there was no harm in answering - as long as he was careful with what he divulged.
"Well..." He began hesitantly, "I'm not sure where to start... I mean, you know about my career... I suppose you could say I'm most honest in my lyrics. The rest of the time I don't always know who I am. My parents are still together, and I've got a little sister who I love with all my heart." A fond smile crept over his lips at the thought of Abby, and he was silent just a moment before continuing.
"I guess that's it, unless there's anything else you want to know..."

"Not as much since they sent me away." Leon replied with a mild smile - his tone a little too sweet. Clearly, he had not yet forgiven his parents for sending him off to boarding school... They were his parents. They were supposed to understand... Then again - how could they understand if he refused to tell them?

"I don't think any of them really want to see me." Leon replied - effortlessly erasing the pain from his voice, though of course unable to erase it from his heart.
"Either way, I'll probably see them during the holidays, so it's fine." He smiled slightly - though inwardly he was wondering if he'd even make it to the holidays... Such dismal thoughts.

Leon shifted uncomfortably as Maggie took his hand, but in response to her soft words, he merely shrugged vaguely. "It is." He replied simply, "I made sure of it. They were glad to see the back of me." He chuckled quietly, though the topic was not really amusing.
Thankfully, the cab stopped then - because Leon was just starting to feel uncomfortable.
"Ah, we're here!" He announced, slightly relieved. He slipped his hand from Maggie's grip and opened the door, then climbed out and held it for her.

"What do you want to watch?" Leon asked with a smile, turning back to Maggie. "It was my choice to come here, so it's only fair that you choose the movie!" He grinned brightly, then paid the cabbie and started walking toward the cinema.

"Honestly, I'm pathetically fond of romance films - but I'll probably end up crying, so action might be a better choice." Leon admitted with a laugh - surprising himself with his honesty. Usually, he would never tell the truth about something like this... And even though it was a small improvement, he was glad.

"Curse you." Leon retorted darkly, but with a teasing grin on his face. But upon her offer to pay for the tickets, he frowned slightly and instantly began objecting. "You don't have to-" But he was too late - she had paid. Silly, really... He had more money than he knew what to do with.
"Okay, fine, but then I'm getting the snacks!" He announced decidedly, smiling cheerfully at Maggie.

Leon shook his head with a sigh. "You know you didn't have to, Mags. Seriously, next time let me pay." He smiled gently at her, and ruffled her hair in a brotherly fashion, then walked off to the snack stand.
"What do you want?" He asked, pulling out his wallet.

"Maggie, I have way too much cash and not enough to spend it on. You'd be doing me a favour by letting me pay!" He laughed and shook his head, "But I do understand."
He glanced up and ordered the snacks, then turned his attention back to Maggie. "You know, popcorn throwing is frowned upon in most societies." He informed her solemnly, before picking up a piece of popcorn and flicking it so it bounced off her forehead.

"We're in the same boat, then. It turns out that swearing on live TV is also somewhat frowned upon... Who'd have guessed?!" Leon laughed brightly, then handed Maggie her popcorn and trotted toward the movie house.
