Name: Axej'ia[Ax-eh-jay] or just Ax.
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Species: Acturi; a race of female warriors. The males of her species are quite useless, much like black widows. They are sort of similar to the Amazonian women of earth.
Description: Here she is  In spite of her humanoid attributes and anatomy, she is fairly different. Her eyes are pitch black, and her skin really isn't like human skin. It's more like an amphibians, and she is very fast and agile. 
Weapons/accessories: Quasiboard[traveling]/ Her sword- This sword has a blade with a silver hue to it. The guard resembles a butterfly, its wings inlaid with ivory and turquoise. Its pommel is shaped like a fist

Seventh Sanctum is a great place to get ideas ^^. If you don't know, just make it up as you go: imagine something you'd think would be useful. (And since we're escapees right now, with no access to weaponry yet, you've got time to think something up, lol. Shung' doesn't even have the pistol yet.)

Here it goes....

Ax let out a frustrated hiss and turned to glare nag him. "No. There isn't anything! Unless you want me to toss you off!" She growled, her black eyes glittering dangerously. She flexed her clawed hands, smiling. Then she felt a jolt of the ship and almost fell, but got her balance quickly. She looked around once more for anything they could toss off, but found nothing. Everything was gone.

"Looks like we're gonna have to survive this, ace." She said with a grimace as she moved to the side.

"Engine Failure. Stand-by for Safety Procedure Menu," the computer intoned helpfully. Shung' would have kicked it if he'd thought it would do them any good. Great, wonderful, all that effort put into breaking out of the frying pan, just to fall into the very green, very hard, fire rushing to meet them. He pulled back as hard as he could on the controls. "Do you see anything on the map about water nearby? It might break our fall!"

Ax looked at him, then touched a panel. A screen of light showed up, showing a map of where they were headed. "Here! Just east of where we're headed now!" She exclaimed excitedly, touching the screen to zoom in. "Hmm...we'd need to get out of there fast. It's deep, and heavy things such as our ship would sink." Ax looked at him and raised her dark eyebrows. "Think it's possible?"

The ship gave another nasty jolt, tipping sickeningly sideways. Blue claws held the shuddering steering tight. His pupils shrank to points from the strain. "Urrgh...anything's possible. Grab the med-kit and anything worth saving and put it in the middle of the ship, we're going to nose-dive, no stopping it." He managed to glance over his shoulder at her, grinning behind the security braces clamping his tusks together. "Can you swim?"

"Can I swim? What kind of question is that? Of course I can." She said with a smirk, which showed pointed and deadly teeth covered by protective wrap, as she pushed the medical kit and anything else worth salvaging to the middle. It wasn't much, just some food and a few other things worth saving. There were two packages with a considerable weight, probably some wort of weaponry. They would need that, who knew what they'd encounter. "You ready?"

The seatbelts made a hissing sound from their release from their locks. "Yep." Less than two hundred yards now. The endless trees finally gave way into dense fog and, yes! An entire expanse of water, a marsh or swamp of some sort.

100 yards and falling. "It was good knowing you, for however short a time that was."

He slammed his fist on a button on the dashboard, and the main door in the side snapped open, sucking out anything that wasn't bolted down.

50 yards. Shung' winced. This might actually hurt. The fog had risen all around them, and he ditched the pilot's seat just as the entire shuttle dove sideways into the murky water.

Ax buckled up, grabbing all the gear and holding it tight to her chest. She closed her eyes, actually scared. That was a rare feeling for her. Well no, that was a lie. She's been scared, many times. But she was brave because she faced it.

She opened an eye, and saw how close they were. She needed to leave some stuff. Quickly she ripped open one of the boxes, finding some weapons. She smiled and kept them, along with the food and Medical Kit. Not much though, but enough. The food was in a waterproof package, as was the medical kit. This could actually work. That is, if they survived the crash.

Even though they hit the water, it was still hard enough to send him and several other items into the far wall. His head hit the rounded partition, and he slumped unconscious in the marshy water rising over the lip of the open hatch and filling the main cabin. The ship groaned and began to sink.

Ax was thrown into the wall of the ship, banging her head against it. There was a sickening thud, and instantly she was dizzy. Though she has had worse hits, this still rattled her brain. She saw the water begin seeping in, and was about to get out when she saw that Shung' was unconscious. Cursing, she grabbed him and whatever else she could carry and hopped out. She instantly dove into murky water, and tried to swim up. She struggled with the weight and had to drop the other weapons package, along with some food. However she kept a hold of one of the packages containing the sword and some other stuff. She burst up to the surface and took a huge gasp of air, which to her pleasure was breathable. If not they would probably both be dead.

Ax looked around for something that looked like solid land. Quickly she found a sand bar, or something like that, and headed over. She reached it and dragged Shung' up with her.

Shung' lay prone, half out of the water, the side of his bloodied face buried in the wet sand and mud. He wasn't breathing.

Overhead, the towering cypress-lookalikes creaked and groaned in the thick mists. Something warbled nearby; other things splashed and plopped in a shallow pool elsewhere. So quiet, yet so many sounds...

...And footsteps, squelching lightly on the soft terrain.

"Really? Not breathing? Okay...let's see..." She pressed on his stomach, three times, then waited three seconds. Then again. She checked his breathing, then tried again. Suddenly she stopped, hearing the footsteps.

She grabbed the sword and stood, looking around carefully.

They were heavy steps, not very stealthy. A pair of massive horns appeared from the fog, and what followed looked to be a massive, multi-legged brown cow cludding its way through the mud, thick clumps of algae and moss dangling from its lips and horntips. The whole thing looked to be made out of moss, actually; all over its back, bright green and adorning it like a great island.

Completely clear blue eyes stared at her placidly, and it just stood there, still eating. Munch, munch, munch.

Ax stared at the moss-cow-creature thing, then looked back down at Shung'. She sighed and stood up, not really sure what to do. She opened the first aid kit to see if there was anything that would help.

It's giant eyes kept staring at her.

...And staring.

Munch. Munch. Munch.

Shung''s eyes flew open. He coughed involuntarily, convulsed, and proceeded to throw up half the marsh.

Ax looked down at him, then danced away from him towards the cow thing. She heard it's munchingnand winced.

"Ew..." She said with a shiver, then glanced back at the animal.
"Hello...moss...creature."

It blinked slowly at her in reply. Munch, munch, munch. Must have been a positive response, seeing as it hadn't trampled them yet. A breath of cold air whooshed from its lungs and through its nose, blowing her hair back.

Shung' coughed up the rest of the water from his lungs and groaned, half out of pain and half out of deep annoyance.
