Identifiable looks or full Physical Description: A rather unattractive girl, with frizzy, shoulder-length blonde hair. Her grey eyes are too big for her narrow face, as are her nose and mouth. She's short and very skinny, with little muscle. She has drawn a small eagle with a dagger in it's beak on her right cheekbone, just under her ear with permanent marker. She re-applies this when it fades.
Personality & Background: Moody and bitter. Her mother left her when she was a toddler, and hasn't been in contact since. Her dad is a vampire like her, however spends more time impressing his girlfriends than paying attention to her. She has few friends, and prefers to hide her emotions from others. Deep down, she longs for a best friend who understands her.

Watching from the branches of her favourite tree, Cammi scowls down at her classmates sunbathing on the grass below her. They don't know she's there, and that's the way Cammi liked it. No human could climb a tree as tall as this, and no human would even think that she could. She felt safe up here, which was mad because no human could hurt her anyway. Or at least, not physically.
The bell for class was sounded, and the many teenagers who had made the most of the afternoon sun during their lunch break headed back to the school entrance. Cammi checked that no one was around before sliding down the tree trunk back to the ground, landing lightly on her feet, despite her heavy school bag. The prospect of spending two hours in maths, where she would undoubtedly be reminded of how low-ranked she is in popularity was extremely unappealing, however she took a deep breath, holding her head high, and sauntered into the school building, glaring at anyone who dared openly stare at her

As usual, Sammy had spent the day not talking to anyone. Those with enough sense gave her a wide berth, even the bullies knew better. They had good reason to, especially after last time. With a heavy-hearted sigh, she gathered her books from the table she was sat on and headed to her maths room. At least she had her counselling session afterwards, which meant only an hour of maths and a further hour of sitting in silence with her face buried in a book. She preferred it that way. Her eyes remained solely focused on the ground in front of her as she grimly set about the task of putting one foot in front of the other, away from the gazes of the students who were passing by her. It was hard to get used to the looks they gave her, most of which screamed she's crazy, but she was the one who had declared herself fit and sane enough to at least try and go to school and get a glimpse at normality. She was sweltering in her long sleeved top in this midday heat, yet she refused to take it off or wear anything else, and as she entered maths and took her usual desk at the back, she nearly collapsed into her seat.

Cammi felt her throat dry up. Silently groaning, she checked her watch to see how many minutes until she could get out of the school and hunt. Another hour and a bit...she began impatiently tapping her desk, counting the seconds in her head. The bell sounded to tell her that double maths was half over. Cammi glared enviously as the girl to her left got up and left classroom.
Finally, the class was over and Cammi hurried out, unknowingly dropping her ipod and student ID in her haste to get out to hunt. The crowd in the hallway parted as she raced through them, none of them wanted to get in her way, or do anything to provoke her. She was different, and they all knew it. Twenty minutes later, she was in the Capri Estate, the "dodgy" part of town, full of drugs, prozzies and crime. It was so rough, that not even the police bothered with it. It took her almost half an hour to pick up the scent of an outcast drug user, who had no family or friends to notice his disappearance. Smiling at the prospect of dinner, she slowly stalked her victim around the estate, waiting for him to be alone.

Halfway through the lesson, Sammy was allowed to get up and leave. She did so in a hurry, not wanting to attract too much attention to herself. She spent the rest of the school day slouched in a chair reading a book, relaxing before the end of the day. When the bell sounded, she was allowed to leave. She was halfway down the corridor, when it struck her that she'd left her book in maths. Silently cursing, she headed back that way, and upon entering the deserted classroom, she saw her book on the desk. Hurrying to go and pick it up, she nearly trod on something that had been discarded on the floor. Bending down to pick up the two items, she studied them. It was an ID card and an iPod, two items that wouldn't have knowingly been thrown away. According to the ID, it belonged to someone called Cameron Longland. Shrugging, she was about to leave it on the desk when she figured she may as well take it, she might run into them and they'd want it back sooner or later, these were very important things. Grabbing her book and hurrying from the room, she exited the school gates and headed down the high street. Usually she would have headed straight home, but today she was instructed to go to the repair shop and pick up some spare parts her parents had ordered for their busted tv.
Perhaps it was because she was hungry, or because this part of the town was so dodgy, but Sammy found herself walking a lot faster that usual.

The man strolled through the estate, unaware of his thirsty stalker. Cammi followed him at a distance, moving as silently as a mouse, her eyes fixed on her prey, her ears listening out for other people. She noticed the man constantly peering over his shoulder and his eyes nervously searching the street. Maybe he'd sensed he was being followed, or maybe the drugs had just made him paranoid. He suddenly retched, and threw up noisily into a gutter outside a run-down repairs shop. Whilst he had his back to her, Cammi came out into the open and positioned herself to strike.

Sammy picked up the pace as the repair shop came into view. Pulling out the list of things that she needed to pick up, she stood outside, looking in the window. That was, until a man stumbled up to the front and vomited loudly on the wall against the shop. Stepping into the shop hurriedly, it only took her a few minutes to get what she needed, before she exited. The man was still there, leaning against the wall and breathing heavily. "A-are you alright?" She asked quietly.
"Fine." He grumbled, turning his back to her. Shrugging, she did the same, and began walking away.

"For fucks sake!" Cammi swore loudly, then clapping her hand over her mouth as the man looked around. She'd been forced to retreat into the shadows after the girl from her maths class came out of the shop. She'd been in the perfect position, and she might not get the opportunity to strike for hours, and her throat was burning in desperation. Snarling to herself, she turned back to see the girl heading off alone into the street, and began to stalk her.

Sam jumped in surprise as someone not far behind her swore, but didn't turn around. Events like that were too commonplace around here. Clutching the bag of tv parts tightly in one hand, she started to quickly make her way back, deciding to take a short cut. At the start of the alley, she paused, reluctant to go down. Everything was screaming at her not to go, but shaking her head to clear it of thoughts, she started down the quicker way home.

Crouching in the shadows, Cammi smiled as the girl made her way down a deserted alley. No one would hear her screaming from here, and even if they did, they wouldn't dare come running. Silently, she crept into the open alley, just meters behind her victim. As she prepared herself to pounce, she felt her fangs lengthen, ready to bite. Adrenaline rushed through her body, her throat burned in excitement as every muscle in her body readied itself to kill.

Sammy dug in her pocket and searched for her phone, reading the messages. Sighing quietly to herself, she put the mobile back in her pocket and carried on down the alley. It was getting darker and darker, the buildings on either side looming so high they they seemed high enough to block out the sun entirely, or what was left of the dying light. She had always been afraid of the dark, she had refused to let them turn off the lights in her room back at the hospital for fear of monsters like werewolves and vampires hiding in the dark. The thought made her shiver.

Cammi pounced onto the girl, grabbing her by the neck and throwing her to ground, hard. She then slunk back into the shadows and circled her prey, waiting for it's neck to be exposed. She crouched low in the shadows as she moved, never taking her eyes off her victim.

Sam screamed as she was thrown to the ground by an invisible force, only just managing to soften her impact with her hands, which gave way weakly as she was sent crashing to the tarmac. Her bag thudded to the ground, as did the carrier with the repair parts, sent sprawling out in front of her as she lay on the ground groaning. What on earth? Flipping over onto her back and expecting to see a man poised over her with a knife, she instead saw nothing. Tears welled in her eyes as she moved her wrist around, pain coursing up her arm every few seconds making her wince and groan. Her hands were grazed, and the cuts stung upon exposure to the air. She must of fallen...that's all.

"Don't rush, take your time, think before you attack" Cammi chanted in her head. Her burning throat longed to run and bite the girls neck, but she knew that one mistake could allow the girl to escape. She might be stronger, but she was no faster than a normal human, and her short, skinny legs made her slower than average.
Just as the girl began to get up, Cammi pounced again, coming from the side. She knocked the girl face-first on the ground, and began circling again, not bothering to hide in the shadows this time.

Sammy yelled in pain as whatever it was slammed into her for a second time, but this time she didn't get up as easily. Shaking like crazy, she managed to lever herself onto all fours, moving her hair out of the way of her face. This time she saw someone, although it wasn't a man as she was expecting. It was a girl, a girl her age. "W-what do you want?" She cried, backing away to the wall. "Please leave me alone."

Cammi laughed, deliberately showing her fangs, as she cornered the girl against the wall. It was cruel, but she liked playing with her food, it made her feel superior.
"Just shut your eyes and hold your breath. It will be over before you know it" She grinned evilly, and slowly began walking towards the girl.

Her wrist twinged in pain as she tried to crawl away more, but ended up back into a corner of bins, damp and disgusting. "You're a v-vampire..." Her heart began to beat faster. No...she had only seen these people from afar, never up close. She didn't know their kind could mix with humans...

Just as Cammi was about to pounce, she heard footsteps and loud talking. The shadows of three young men came around the corner into the alley. Unable to show what she is to humans, she fled. Sprinting away from the alley, she growled in frustration that she'd allowed the girl to escape, knowing what she was. At some point, she would have to find her and silence her. But what if she told anyone before she did? Oh well, she thought, no one would believe her.
