Scout looked down at her feet, feeling her face grow warm again "Oh...um...sure." she said, suddenly shy.

I smiled. "I mean, you dont have to..i was just asking" i said to her smiling.

Scout shook her head quickly "No. No I will." she said brightly, looking back up to him with an embarrased grin.

I laughed alittle and nodded. "Great, where would you want me to pick you up at?" i asked er.

Scout chewed at her lip "Uhh..my place?"

I smiled and nodded. "Where do you live?" i asked her.

Scout glanced down for a moment "Uhh...37 Palmer street.." she spoke softly, wringing her hands together.

I smiled and nodded. "Ill be there at 8" i sadi to her.

Scout nodded "Okay. What do you have planned? Or are you not gonna tell me?" she asked playfully.

"If i told you, i would have to kill you." i said to her. I smiled. "Dont worry just a figure of speech" i said to her laughign.

Scout laughed softly "Oh..damn. Oh well. Surprise are cool."

I laughed and nodded. "Thought so" i said to her.

Scout grinned and nodded, letting her hands fall to her sides and glancing around.

I smiled. "See you then" i said and turned walking back intot he water.

Scout nodded "Yeah, Seeya then." she said quietly, turning back for her stuff and flopping down on her back in the sand "What have I done?" she mumbled.

i dove in under the water again and just swimmed the whole time.

Scout drifted home after a while, pondering what to wear. Of course it was hard to know when she had no idea where they were going. Sigh.

After swimming some i got home and took a shower. I got dressed in some usual baggy pants and a black shirt with a design on it.

Scout just decided on casual; A pair of dark skinny jeans with rips in them, and a white shirt that clung to her chest as well as a pair of black flats.

I walked out and got into my truck. I sprade on some cologne and then looked for her house where she said it was.

Scout disappeared into the washroom, fixing her curly hair and throwing on a tad bit of makeup before heading downstairs to wait for him.

I pulled into what i thought was her house and parked. I got out and walked to the door knocking on it gently.

Scout rushed to the door, thankfully beating her dad there and opening it to see Jason. She smiled "Hey."

I smiled and looked at her. "Hey" i said.

Scout turned partially "I'm going out now Daddy!" she called before slipping around Jason and pulling the door shut.
