Lucie sat on the park bench reading Romeo and Juliette, one of her personal favorites. She looked up from her book and watched as the world passed by, and she shut her book silently and walked from the park, heading down the street towards the edge of town where there was a large forest where she wouldn't be disturbed.

Nash prowled through the woods in his other form,searching for something to chase.He stopped and lifted his massive head up when he heard a twig snap nearby and slowly he stalked forward, keeping low to the ground.When he emerged from a bush he saw a great hulking elk standing just a few yards away.Nash stayed still waiting for the animal to let it's guard down and when it did he pounced on it,his fangs sinking into the elks throat,cutting the windpipe off.Nash dug his claws into the animals shoulder's and felt proud of himself when the animal's lifeless body fell to the ground.

She made her way down the deserted streets, hoodie pulled up over her head. When she reached the border of the nature reserve, she climbed over the fence easily and walked into the middle, where she reached a lake in the center. Making sure she was completely alone, she took off her trousers, slipping into the lake. In a few seconds, she transformed into a centaur, and she waded deeper into the lake, until the water was waist height. She wanted to keep her hoodie dry, at least. it felt good to be back in her own form, being confined to her human form made her feel uncomfortable, false.

Nash happily drank the elks blood then ate a couple bits of it before he wandered towards the lake to get a drink.He didn't see the girl in the lake until he lifted his head up after he got the drink.Nash let out a fearsome growl.

She spun around, letting out a small gasp. Her horse body was hidden under the water, her hair just skimming the top of the mirrored surface. Her eyes fixed on the tiger, her body frozen in shock.

Nash roared again,not wanting anybody in his territory,and took a warning step into the water.Better run girl. he thought,thinking that she was a human.

She wanted to back into the water, but it was getting too deep. "Please...I don't want to hurt you..." She started to walk to the side, where it got a little shallower, a little of her horse body was exposed.

Nash growled a laugh when the girl said she didn't want to hurt him and took another step into the water,his ears flat against his head and his face turned into a snarl.But when she stepped just a couple of inches out of the water and he saw that it looked like her lower half was that of an animal, the snarl went away and his ears shot forward in curiosity.

Tears of fear welled in her eyes, but soon disappeared as he stopped growling. "What do you want?" She stammered.

Nash walked further into the weather towards her."What are you?"he asked through the tiger's mouth,the voice coming out in a deep dark rumble.

Her mouth opened in surprise, she had never seen a tiger around here, let along a talking tiger. He must be like her...he must be different. "I am a super." She puffed out her chest a little and held her head a bit higher. "The same question I put to you."

"Yes I am a super."Nash said then looked her over again,"What are you though,as in what kind of super?"he asked.

I stared at him for a little while, before moving out of the deep into shallower waters. "I am a centaur."

The tiger nodded his head,"I figured."he said and stayed in the water.

She stayed still. "Well, what are you?" She asked.

Nash smiled a very toothy grin,"I'm a Bajang." he said.

Her eyes narrowed. "But...you were said to be extinct! I haven't seen hind nor hair of any of your kind for years! I mean...You must hide yourself very well." She added, realizing that she sounded rather forward.

Nash's grin was slow and a bit sadistic,"I'm not extinct.And you haven't seen any of us because I'm the last and only us."he said as he switched back to his human form.The transformation wasn't painful like all the writers say they are,it's more like a bee sting;pain one minute and gone the next.

She stepped back a little as he began to transform, it was a little strange, but probably no worse than hers. She looked at him, up and down.

Nash looked her up and down."Besides I heard all of your kind had been hunted down years ago." he said and crosses his arms over his chest.

She gave him a sad smile. "Nearly all of us." She said sadly, scratching the back of her head. "I learned that humans are cruel. My kind were foolish, they allowed themselves to die."

Nash arched an eyebrow,"How come you didn't die right along with them?"he asked and started circling her the way a predator circles it's prey."I mean you just said that your kind allowed themselves to be killed,so that means you must be weak."he spoke quietly,his voice rough because he was fighting his inner animal.

She narrowed her eyes, him insulting her kind was not something she took lightly. "How dare you. I was intelligent enough to see through the transparent beings humans are. They are shallow, and they are the weak ones. It was only by concealing myself as one of them did I get by."
