I raised an eyebrow. "I don't even grasp how one could like feeling dominated, I said, astonished,

He thought for a moment. "I know a lot of people who do, though." He turned and looked at her. "Thats another reason why you're so amazing. You don't want to be like anyone except yourself."

I blinked, then shrugged slightly.
"I do not envy the people you know who do. And, I have never found a reason to be like anyone but my own self. If you ever try to be someone else, you come back to reality sooner or later that it won't happen. That you are you, not so-and-so," I mused.

he thought about this for a moment, then turned away from her. Rather than replying he walked to the river and sat down next to the water, watching it rush down stream with immense speed. He sighed and fell back, looking at the sky. A song popped into his head, and even though it was a super girly sing he began humming it.

I sat down at the trunk of a massive oak tree, leaning up against it.
"Deja vu..." I murmured.

he stopped humming and looked over at her. "Hm?"

I raised an eyebrow. "Thinking," I said, tapping my fingers to some songs mindlessly.

"Ohh fun." He watched her for a moment, then turned his attention back to the sky.

I gave a sharp, small nod. "When you become as solitary as I am, thinking becomes your main activity and time consumer," I mused.

He chuckled. "You're so serious." He said, looking at her teasingly.

I raised an eyebrow.
"Well, why not? Being serious and 'mature' about things brings new levels of understanding. Most of which boys cannoot access," I said with a roll of my eyes.

"Maybe so, but you need time to be a kid and to grow up on your own time." He paused and looked away from her. "Maybe boys just don't want to grow up. I mean, have you seen most little girls nowadays? My little sister tries to go to school will loads of makeup on, and the only reason is because her friends at school own their own makeup." Charlie laughed a bit. "You can only imagine the look on my mothers face when she saw all that makeup all over the bathroom"

I chuckled. "Well, before I could grow up, I had a bit of a 'cruel awakening'. Ran away at age eight, and, well, my life sorta sucked from then on," I said, a hint of sarcasm in my voice, but I was being completely honest.

He turned and looked at her sadly. "Maybe you should try being a kid now."

I blinked. "Why would I do something like that?" I questioned.

"Because everyone needs to be a kid, no matter how their childhood was." He stood up and brushed himself off.

I shook my head. "My childhood died, I don't need or want another chance a it," I said, pulling my knees to my chest and wrapping my arms around them as I continued to sit and think.

He furrowed his eyebrows. He wasn't sure What it was he felt for her. Sympathy? Maybe. Empathy? He couldn't even imagine a life like hers.

I laughed quietly. "Possibly both, or none at all," I said.

Huh? He asked

I simply smiled slightly and raised an eyebrow, waiting for him to guess.

"How...?" He blinked and thought for a moment. His memory flashed back to having a conversation with Aiyo in his head, but he knew that never happened. "Oh my goodness." He stared anther in bewilderment

I closed my eyes and leaned my head against the tree trunk.
"Multiply your shock by about a hundred to see what I feel like. Can't believe I've been living in the dark for so long..." I murmured.

He thought for a moment. "Can you use your new brain power to figure out what's been going on with these memories?" he smiled.
