The BME and Me 8D

I continued to tilt my head towards the sky, not looking at him, as my eyes were closed.
I chuckled. "'New'? Nah, not new. And, yes, I can, but I can't make it make sense to you." I said.

He furrowed his eyebrows. "Well it's not much fun for me if I don't know anything!" He complained

I let out a sigh, still not bringing myself to look at him.
I replayed the time we'd known eachother, about a century or something ago.

He stood there in amazement as he watched them. It was so unreal, but so...familiar. Finally it got to where they had kissed and he found himself blushing.

I laughed quietly. "I cannot say I am exactly 'empathetic' for your embarrassment, as you kissed me." I said, laughing.

He grumbled. "That was a long time ago." He muttered, crossing his arms and looking away.

I laughed again. "I am aware of that!" I said, still laughing.

He couldn't help but smile at her laughter, then turned and faced her. "Do you think we're any different now than we were then?" He asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

I smiled. "Hm, aside from the fact that you were a lieutenant in the Civil War, and I was... well... some lonely girl freak, no, not really. I even still talk the same way and everything... Weird," I mused, knowing what he was getting at but pretending not to.

"Umm..yeah I guess. But I meant like..." He trailed off, getting lost in his own thoughts.

I smiled again. "Yes, I know," I said, a bit of a teasing tone in my voice.

He felt a bit of color rush to his cheeks. "Well, do you?" He prompted, looking at her with just his eyes, a shocking blue in contrast to his light hair which hung infrint of them, sectioning the blue off. His skin was lightly tanned from being outside all the time, and the faint ghost of freckles appeared on his cheeks.

I shrugged. "Possibly, and probably, according to my theories. We have been through death and back.... Really hard to tell," I said.

He chuckled. "Maybe you should take your theories and add them to how you [i]feel[i]." He smiled sweetly at her.

I laughed, completely amused by the entire situation.
"Well, that could be a bit harder than you'd think. Emotions and theories aren't easy to intertwine together.... But, as far as I'm concerned, it seems as if we are completely and 100% the same as we were then," I admitted.

He couldn't help but smile. "Well...then...I think...." He shrugged, not sure what to say.

I smiled back. "Yeah... not much to say to that, now, is there?"

He sighed and nodded. "Yeah..."

I smiled softly.
"I can understand that," I said, simply.
