"Okay, well Why dont i drive you home? " I offered motioning back to the truck. "I'll sit in the trunk and sleep, Chase can drive" I chuckled and gave her a soft smile

She giggled "Oh. I see. Um...I guess, thanks, it saves me an hour of walking." she smiled, gently letting her hand brush his as she turned and slowly started back for the school, pausing to wait for him with one brow lifted in question.

"Come on" I said with a smile and followed her taking her hand in mine softly. "I promise i wont burn you" I smiled and started walking with her back towards the truck. When we got there everyone had gotten inside and as i promised i sat in the tailgate. "Trust me i'll be fine, dogs love bein in the wind" I chuckled and climbed up.

Aby pressed her lips together as he climbed up in the back "Are you sure? Because I can just walk home...its no big deal..." she said warily, watching him with a slight hint of worry in her otherwise bright eyes.

"Oh come on im a junkie you know it" I chuckled. "Now get in the truck, I'll be fine" I smiled and stood in the back leaning on the roof of the truck as Chase started it up

Labyrinth sighed, totally not agreeing with what he said but nodding anyway, slipping into the truck and closing the door, glancing out the back window with a frown. She just got him back after not seeing him for almost five years, and he was doing dangerous crap like this?

"Chase drive slow you animal" Andy hissed at him as he revved the engine and an irritated sigh filled the car from Jazz. "Try telling him no and he wont listen. He'll be alright though" She assured Aby.

She looked over at Jazz, a little reassured by her words "I hope so." she sighed, biting her lip and looking down to her lap.

She rested her hand on top of hers. "He'll be fine. He heals quick" she smiled and we drove off and i stood in the back until we got to her house. Then i ducked down under the blankets in the back to make sure he couldnt smell me. No matter how much i wanted to maul his face, he still was Aby's brother. She would never forgive me for it.

Aby sighed as they reached her house, quietly thanking them as she slipped out of the car and made her way around to the back, peering in "Jake. You don't have to hide. I promise you he won't do anything." she said quietly, wanting to atleast get to hug him before she left.

"The last thing i need is for him to smell me" I said peaking out from under the blanket. "then its world war three again" I said with a chuckle and gave her a one armed hug. "I'd get out but i'll hear it from Andy about leaving the back of the truck and all that" I said with a chuckle

She laughed softly, shaking her head "Oh well. I'll talk to you later I guess." she replied, hugging him back lightly before giving a sort of lazy wave and starting for the house, of course met by Bryan at the door and glared at the truck before pulling her into the house and slamming the door.

I heard the slam and growled under my breath as we drove home. When we got there i hopped out and walked everyone inside. The air warm and dry, yet the breeze shook the leaves in the trees above us carrying the earth's smells with it.

Aby grimaced and glared at Bryan as she hurried upstairs, ignoring his shouts after her before he grabbed her when she was almost in her room "You were with that boy again." he hissed. She rolled her eyes "So what?" she snapped "I told you, I never want to see him again!" "Well you don't have to see him, Bryan. You're choosing to see him." "No I'm not! Stop sassing me Aby, get your butt in that room and you're not leaving it again until school tomorrow morning. I will be driving you and you better not be hanging around with that stupid child when I pick you up after school." "Whatever Bryan." she mumbled, rolling her eyes and slamming the door on him before curling up on her bed.
