Two friends go skinny dipping in a lake. They end up with powers, and find out that the lake had radioactive materials leaking into it. Everything seems all right, until they find out that they're dying. The only cure is a rare plant found in the Amazon rainforest, and they have to go in search of it.

Lacey giggled as she emerged from the lake and walked over to where their clothes laid on the shore. Goosebumps rose on her sun-kissed skin as the cool night air touched it. Though it was summer, it was not extremely warm that particular night. The young woman picked up her clothing, tugging it on piece-by-piece. "Okay, now I'm cold," she told Alex with a soft laugh. Her ebony hair shone in the moonlight as she wrung it out, and then let it cascade over her shoulders again. Lace rubbed her arms to keep them warm, waiting for the goosebumps to disappear as she also waited for Alex.
