I got up and followed her out holding the door open. I took out my phone and let the door shut as she walked out. "Im gonna go meet the guys outside, we're heading out so i guess i'll see you around?" I asked with a hopeful smile

Emily looked up shyly at Jake. "I...I'm not sure that's a good idea," she said, although secretly she would love to see him again. "I mean...the man already found you, I wouldn't want to put you in any more trouble. EVEN if I know you live for danger," she added with a little laugh.

"He cant handle a wild goose chase?" I mused. "Dont worry about it, I'll be fine. You need to rest up that ankle" I pointed out with a smile

Emily smiled. "Thanks, Jake, I will," she said. She waved to him before limping off to her next class, then she could sit there.

"Jake you ready for the game tonight?" Levi asked as he jogged over to me at my locker. "Yeah Jules has another thing comin!" I laughed

Emily was looking at the bulletin board, it said that there was a school game that night. She remembered Jake was on the team and wondered if he'd be there. She decided to go, although most of her was telling her it was probably not a good idea. She started off walking down the hall imagining Jake's arm around her, and smiled.

"Come on we'd better start the pep rally if we are gonna get anywhere" Levi said as my face was hidden behind the locker door and when i uncovered it i had football stripes under my eyes one black the other lime green for our team colors. "Way ahead of you" I smiled and handed him the paint as he began to mark his face up and it was passed thoughout our team

Emily squeezed in with the other students filling into the gym. She sat at the top row so she could see everything. It was noisy and crowded with everyone cheering, she looked for the players.

We were set up in the locker room. Our school banner in front of the door we would come racing out of. The team except me came running out bursting through the banner getting everyone all roweled up, I could hear the screams and cheers. Even air horns

The crowd jumped to their feet and cheered, Emily couldn't help but cheer with them too, of course her voice got lost in the noise. They waved banners and small flags and applauded loudly.

He yelled again and the cheers got louder than ever as i came running out And i could mostly hear all the girls squealing as i began waving my arms up telling them to get louder as i went around the stands before stopping in the center holding my hands up as if to tell them to get quiet. And once they did and the camera was on me that projected it to the giant screen so everyone could see me. Then the music rose up again as I did what every girl wanted me to do..my signature back flip. It was amazing how something so simple could drive them wild. Getting low i jumped back into a back flip my jersey riding up slightly revealing the tops of my boxers and just the bottom of the eight pack i possessed. The camera caught every bit of it. Then the music was drowned out by the screams and squeals.

Emily smiled as Jake came out, and she couldn't help but giggle when he did a signature backflip and everyone went wild. He's such a show off, she thought but in a good way, she admired him as well. Suddenly in the corner of her eye she noticed some movement that wasnt part of the crowd, she looked round in alarm. When she thought she saw nothing she turned to look at Jake again.

Breathing heavy through my nose i smelled the air. Sh*t i thought and without being noticed i disappeared out of the light and went under the bleachers following the scent. It was dark yet my eyes could see everything. Down to every last wad of gum stuck underneath it

As the game went on Emily wondered where Jake went. Suddenly the lights in the entire gym went out. People began screaming and looking for the emergency lights which didnt turn on mysteriously. Frightened, Emily shifted into a small black cat so she could see, she started going down the bleachers weaving in nd out of peoples feet.

I growled and a flash of my light erupted beneath the bleachers before going pitch black again hiding my tiger human form in the darkness. The growls erupting from my chest only caused more screams as i now went onto all fours into a full out tiger. A mouse or something may have triggered it. But either way the sparks from the lights exploding lit the room and i heard murmurs of being noticed and not knowing what i was

Emily jumped at the flash of light, she didn't know it was Jake until she heard him growling. "Jake!" she mewed, and made to run for where she heard him but a net suddenly fell over her. "No!" she cried, as she was being pulled away. At the same time another two nets were being shot over Jake.

Dodging them i lunged at where they came from with a roar and everyone screamed as i hit a body. The source of the very smell and began mauling what i could digging my claws into what ever i could. "Let her go and i wont kill you!" I snarled

"We need more men over here!" another man called, and Emily felt a flurry of feet jump over her racing towards Jake, as she was dragged down the bleachers. One of the men tasered her, she fell unconscious as they started carrying her across the gym, hurrying to get out the door.

The man Jake attacked went down, and four other men jumped on him with the net, trying to restrain him

Finally my anger got totally out of control. I phased into a big heavy draft horse. One though i didnt expect. A black frame, Red eyes, fangs a cat like tail the tips of my tail and mane flames?! Well it worked out. I ripped from their net and kicked them, trampled them in the process. Charging after the men with Emily i ripped them from the bundle with my fangs with a screech and caught the bundle before it hit the ground. I burst through the gym doors and the entire mile long school was out. Which made getting out harder with the maze of hallways and dead ends. My hooves slid on the linoleum floor before getting enough traction to head down one hallway

"We'll need a taser cannon for this one!" one of the men cried is disbelief as the unreal horse burst forth before them. They scrambled down the steps and hurried after the horse. "call our people outside" one of the men called, and some other men in dark suits burst into the building, at least three of them at each exit.

i slid to a stop with another screech i turned and headed down another hall way, Little A it was called. Posters ripped from the wall only to be burned up by catching my tail. I was now panicking and i was angry as all hell. A very bad combo with me.

One of the men radioed the other. "Head him off down this hallway, it's a dead end, he won't be able to get away!" he yelled. "You sure we shouldn't bring fire extinguishers" the other said nervously. But the crowd of men gathered at the entrance of the hallway. "You can't get away now, halfbreed," one of them yelled at Jake.

"Well what the hell do you want then?!" I yelled as the flames got brighter and enveloped my hooves yet neither one of us were burned. "We arent LAB RATS!" I screeched

The men backed away from the flames a bit. One of them actually was carrying a fire extinguisher, but he looked too nervous to use it. One of them stepped forward. "There, there, halfbreed. We only want to know why your kind exist in this world," he said. "Then again, you're not really suppost to exist at all. So be a good little horsie and heel."

Some of the men were inching towards Jake, carrying their net guns and tasers.

I let a growl rumble in my chest. "You do realize with those tazers you are messing up your results" I said playing a mind game i knew they would fall for. "Why dont you just study from afar huh?" I said still holding her in the net in the safety of the flames
