Lacy's brother has died, not by what natural circumstances would have brought apon him, but by the hands of a vampire. She is now heart broken, she lost her best friend. In an attempt to bring her out of the cocoon she has now formed around herself her dad moves them to a remote town in Washington. Not only does she now have to deal with this depression, but she has to ajust to this new pack. Can anyone pull her out of her cocoon?

Lacy slowly pulled her eyelids open her empty eyes blankly scanning her room. She sait upright and ran a hand slowly through her hair, and moved her neck around popping it. Slowly pushing her legs over the bed and stood creeping along the floor to her bathroom. She showered and pulled on a hunter green tank top with lace at the top and bottom, and a pair of slightly torn stonewashed jeans. She walked stiffly down the stairs and pushed open the kitchen door stepping out barefooted onto the tile patio, cold morning air striking against her.

Nat sat on the fence surrounding his property. He chucked a half eaten apple to the woods. He had the best house ever, at least he thought so. He had a perfect view of the ocean, and he was right next to the woods. He sighed happily as a gentle sea breeze ruffled his hair. He wore a thin tee-shirt and shorts. On his feet were sneakers, which were worn from running. He fell backwards off the fence and landed gently with his hands behind his head, staring up at the greying sky.

[brb dinner!]

Lacy stepped back inside and pulled on a pair of dark brown converses and stepped back outsite momentarily closing her eyes before walking into the woods her eyes slowly scanning around.

Nat noticed a figure going through the woods. He jumped up and decided to investigate. He hopped the fence and walked out into the woods, keeping an eye for whoever was out there.

Lacy glanced cautiously around before taking a deep lung full of air before morphing, her pelt glistening in the faint light of the sun reaching through the clouds, her silver ears swiveled around and froze as they caught on to the sound of footsteps, and she lowered her head lithly moving into a noiseless trot. Her sleek body wove in and out of hanging branches and bushes, ice blue eyes scanning her surroundings and keeping alert.

Nat glanced around him, then morphed. His sandy brown fur rippled as he leaped over a fallen tree and into a clearing. Landing silently he looked all around him, sniffing the air. What was that? He sniffed again. Wolf. Regular wolf or...? He bounded towards the scent, skidding to a halt in front of a female pack member.

Lacy snorted and growled throwing in a snarl here and there as the other wolf appeared. She moved herself one step to the left eyes still focused on the other wolf. Just what she needed today.

He eyed her suspiciously. Wasn't this the girl that just joined the pack. He decided to find out.
Who are you? He asked her. If she got the message then yeah, she was part of the pack. If not then he'd chase her off, or rip her throat out. Either way it didn't matter.

<i>why do you care?</i> She replyed snorting, her ears moving back.

Oh, so you are a member. He sat down and his ears twitched while he watched her. Angry much, aren't you? He wagged his tail to show he was teasing.

Lacy winced at his words I have my reasons. She growled turning her head back to look at him.

He tilted his head to the side. So..uh...what exactly are you doing? He lifted one paw up and licked it, nibbling in between the pads to get a thorn out. Even though he was the size of a bear, little things like that bugged the crap out of him.

Do I need to have a reason to simply be wandering about the woods? She snapped her large body trembling lightly. Everyone allways had to question they didn't need to know her reason...They wouldn't understand.

He looked up at her in surprise. Just a question. He shook his head. What was up with these pack chicks? They always acted like they had a leech stuck on them.

And I should be asking you the same thing, what are you doing here? She replyed cocking her head slightly.

Trying to figure out who you were. Seeing as he was so close to the woods it had always been his job to keep patrol here, which was exactly what he was doing.

Well you figured it out She replyed before turning her sleek body and walking away, wind still ruffling her pelt. A snort arose from her muzzle, and her eyes were glued onto her path.

He stared after her, immensely annoyed. He growled, then turned and walked in the opposite direction. He reached the back of his house and morphed back to human, running in to get a new change of clothes. He sat on his bed, staring up at the ceiling in pure anger.

Lacy growled to herself all the way home, and morphed stomping upstairs into her room where she sat on the edge of her bed running a hand through her hair. No one could know...No one would understand...She could trust no one. A tear was wrenched from one of her eyes and she bit her lower lip attempting to stop the approaching flood of them.

He heard a thumping on his wall, and he opened up his window.
"What?!" He called down, obviously annoyed. His pack mates grinned up at him.
"Come on, we're going leech hunting!" They called, running into the woods to get the other pack members. Nat grumbled and hopped out of the window, landing nimbly and hopping the fence and morphed again.

Lacy curled up in a ball in the middle of her bed, werewolf or not she felt completely veunerable and alone. Thoughts swirled around in her head, thoughts she wished she could rid herself of for forever. Life made no sence anymore...But had it ever? She clenched her eyes shut and took a long deep breath of air.
