Damon blinked. She said something under her breathe, but he didn't really hear what it was. Not that it mattered much.
"Umm...I think it'd be smarter if you went somewhere. And not by yourself, seeing as you almost got attacked by a gang and were saved by pure luck."

She raised her eyebrows.
"Why? I-I can protect myself. I just... Well..." she trailed off.
"I just didn't really think they were that dangerous," she admitted.

Damon sighed.
"Yeah. Okay. You definitely can take care of yourself." He said sarcastically. Seriously, who thinks a bunch of guys dressed like thugs hanging outin a dark alley aren't dangerous?

She huffed.

He arched his eyebrows.

"Je suis sans doute au courant de cela. Je n'ai tout simplement la possibilité de rendre plus facile, et je vais donc," she replied swiftly. She was much better at French than any other language, as she was full-blooded French. She had been born and raised there, so she, of course, knew the language.

Damon chuckled and shrugged.
"Peu importe. Le sarcasme est la deuxième langue de l'Amérique." He grinned at her mischievously. He knew French because his mother was from France, and she was convinced he needed more of the French culture in his life, so she made him learn French along with English, homschooling him up until middle school. She still taught him things about France after school and on weekends, but he really mostly used it to romance the girls. They loved it. It was mostly just a teaser, but to have a conversation with someone else in French, be it female or male, was a rare treat for him.

She glanced at him for a moment.
"N ° abord. En second lieu seulement à quelques privilégiés. Vous, de qui, sont évidemment pas exception," she said, rolling her eyes.

She was instantly taken over the suspicion that he was right. Maybe they would, and then she'd be blind! No! That couldn't possibly happen... right? She'd have to ask Rynn later.
"J'ai des raisons extrêmement importantes pour le faire, je vous remercie beaucoup," she snapped right back.

He smiled at her sweetly. He knew exactly what the reason was, but he felt the need to still ask, just to humor her.

She huffed and rolled her eyes again.
"Ne pas l'idiot avec moi," she said, her voice taking on a slightly harsher tone. But only barely, as she was not one that could be angered easily. This was not necessarily anger as much as irritation. He was definitely getting under her skin at times, but she knew that was exactly what he was trying to do.
She flicked her hair.
"Je suis le maître de ce jeu, de toute façon."

"Quel jeu?" He asked with a smile. He walked up to her and leaned towards her, his nose and inch away from her. He stared right into her eyes, then made a move like he was going to kiss her, but at the last second he darted to her ear, and his lips stopped literally centimeters from her ear. "Je suis seulement jouer avec ta petite tête jolie."

She simply raised her eyebrows in a slightly bored fashion as he 'messed with her', of course succeeding.
"Si ce n'était pas très apparent, vous pourriez vous retrouver dans une mauvaise position en ce moment," she whispered back, her voice dangerously smooth. She seemed to take on a whole new personality when she was speaking in French, for reasons quite unknown.

A smile played across his lips. He definitely liked her a lot more now. She was feisty.
"Mettre les griffes de suite." He whispered, flicking a bit of her hair the was poking out of her hood. He turned away from her ear and looked her straight in the eyes again. "Vous semblez ignorer que je dirige cette ville."

She raised her eyebrows again.
"Impossible. Je ne suis pas chat," she replied. His next words brought a small smirk to her lips, almost causing her to laugh, which wasn't exactly considered rare unless it was around guys. She'd had bad experiences with them, like the other three.
"Peut-être le «gars» côté de lui. Bien que nous règle la partie femelle. L'Amérique n'a pas la monarchie, si vous ne vous souvenez plus simple des enseignements de sciences sociales. Apparemment, ils ne vous servira à rien."

He almost began laughing out loud. She seemed to know nothing of the social world, like she had been living under a rock.

She could only barely resist slapping him or something.

"J'ai appris tout ce qu'il faut savoir. Rien d'autre n'est necessaire," she replied smoothly.

She shook her head, still maintaining her bright personality even though he was sort of pressing.
"Heck pas. Nous n'avons pas vraiment dire les choses si elles ne sont pas déjà déduit," she said.

She shrugged; his next words were quite right.
"'intelligence de la rue "Eh bien, je n'ai vraiment pas besoin. Je suis habituellement entouré de trois autres qui ont vraiment idée de ce qu'ils font," she said with a small chuckle.

"Alors pourquoi Voyage seul? Semble assez ridicule si vous avez normalement ... gardes du corps." Damon said, still smiling. So she normally walks around with three other people, yet she picks night time to go alone. Not smart.

She tilted her head a bit.

He started pacing, growing bored with standing still.
"Même ainsi, il n'est pas encore à puce Voyage seul la nuit. Comme vous l'avez dit, dans les nombres. Même si vous aimez la nuit, il n'est pas très intelligent pour une jolie fille se promener seul à cette époque." He said, stopping and looking at her.
