Candlelight (BME!)

Acheron agreed after a moment, following his love down the spiral staircase. It was a wrought-iron, black, Gothic style staircase, one of his favorites in the house. He ran his hand affectionately along the rails as he descended, carressing the design.
"Not compared to my experience, chere. Have you ever been in need to truely use your skill...?"

[[Sure! xD]]

[[Yeah... I gotta go now! xD]]

I descended swiftly, and, upon arrival to the basement, which was still as nice as every other part of the house, just a bit less furnished, turned around.
"Of course I have. How do you think I escaped?" I responded, sweeping a few locks of my black and silver hair out of my face.

[Byes! -sigh-]

Acheron smiled at her.
"A worthy opponent is hard to find, nowadays," he said, stepping forwards. He leaned his sword against the wall, following after it. He crossed his arms across his chest and grinned at her.
"Would you prefer offensive or defensive?" he asked, teasingly.

I laughed softly at his smile.
"Worthy, now I'm not too sure about that... I believe I have less strength than most of the males I have fought before, but speed and tactics are rather what I excel in," I teased softly.
I raised an eyebrow.
"I don't mind. Either."

"Hmm... You take the offensive positiion, dearest, and I shall take defense," he said after a moment, grabbing his sword and falling into a practiced stance as he waited for the first attack. In responce to her other words, he said, "Strength is not all there is to swordfighting, mon ange. Your skills- and what one does verbally- also are important factors in a duel."

I nodded curtly, taking my sword and twirling it once.

I laughed softly.
"I believe the verbal is what my weakness is. If I am hearing it from ones whom I fear, that is."

[Hm... she does seem to lay her weaknesses out for Acheron... xD]]

Acheron smiled at her, "Well?" he asked teasingly, "Are we going to begin, or non?"
Acheron's eyebrows furrowed. "Good to know, good to know..." he murmured.

[[Yes, yes. Ashkyinz was quite right xD]]
[[Yes, that is very apparent. I think our charries are perfect for eachother... if Mayo Aiyo hadn't tested his feelings that night xD]]

I smiled and nodded again, brandishing my sword high.

"Eh? Why is this information so 'good to know'? You're beginning to intimidate me, l'amour," I teased, striking his sword, forcefully pointing its tip down.

((They are, aren't they? My Ashykins does have quite the disturbing past; he was shaken by his worst fear, basically, and had no idea how to react. He reacted in the only way he knew how to...))

Acheron smiled as thier duel began. He blocked the blow, sidestepping from her and coming up from behind.
"It is good to know what you need to improve on, my lover dearest. What we need to target, strengthen."

[[And how is that? Sad, really, that we've RPed with these same charries for months, and he knows her past, but she doesn't know his xD]]

I turned swiftly to face him, actually feeling much weaker from behind.
"Ah great. So in other words, you're going to torment me using my weaknesses until I become indifferent?" I teased, swiping at his sword again.

"That is a high possibility," he replied. ith a well-practiced trick he had learned, he used his sword to pull Aiyonna's out of her hands. It was yanked free, and fell to the floor with a loud clatter.
"Keep a firmer grip, my love; you don't know what tricks your opponent may have up thier sleeve," he said, using his sword to send the weapon into the air, catching it by the hilt. He switched it around to the blade, and held it gently with the hilt outstreched to her.

I laughed and rolled my eyes, the laughter ceasing as I jumped from the lould clattering.
"Hm... being a Lightning manipulator, you'd think I'd be used to loud noises... apparently not," I said to myself.

I raised an eyebrow.
"It isn't exactly my fault that you're stronger than I am, Acheron," I teased softly, taking the hilt of the blade and raisng it once more.

"Use your ther assets- and don't get distracted," Acheron said, "That was why your hold loosened."
Acheron put his hands on Aiyonna's body, shifting her into defensive.
"Let's switch roles, shall we?" he murmured into her ear, before pulling away. Without a pause, he swung into an attack position.

[[Ahaha! She secretly loovvveees it when he puts his hands on her, okay, maybe NOT so 'secretly' xP]]

I nodded with a small smirk, pulling my sword into a defensive position in front of me, waiting for his attack.

Acheron immediately swiped st her chest, his adrenaline levels slowly rising at the prospect of the duel increased. He lept onto one of the furniture pieces, knocking it over on his way down for another attack.
He laughed- this was one of the most fun things to do, at least to him.

I swiftly moved my torso backwards as he aimed for it, rolling my eyes as I erected myself once more.
I laughed as he knocked over the furniture, not minding at all, but just wondering what Aiden would think if he saw the scene.

Acheron jabbed for her side, a small grin on his face.
"Come on, lover," he purred, "Think you can take me?"

I blocked the blow, twisting my sword around and slamming his away from my side just before it made contatc.
"Mm... we shall see," I said, imitating his tone and voice with ease, and a smirk.

Acheron had her backed against the nearest wall, his eyes dancing. Rising his dulled sword, he placed it at her throat. His other hand rested oagainst the wall, and his eyes locked hers.
"Checkmate?" he whispered, "How do you get out?"

I smiled.
"Oh that, l'amour, is simple," I whispered back, pausing for a moment, as if savoring it.
I then kicked his legs out from underneath him, grabbing his sword as he fell, with a smirk on my face... even though I... was falling too.

Acheron braced himself with his hands, narrowly avoiding landing on top of Aiyonna- or, well, mor than he was.
"That wasn't the smartest move, my love," he murmured, knocking both swords out of her hands and across the room. He rolled off of her, the turned his head to the side and smiled at her.

I regained my normal breathing pattern, rolling over to look at him.
"Well, I think it would have turned out a bit better if I hadn't slipped up and fallen as well... Otherwise, I think I would've lost the duel," I teased.

((My cat is distracting me.))

Acheron pushed himself into a sitting position, folding his legs Indian-style. With a soft smile, he rached out and ran one finger across her jawline, feather-light.

I smirked softly, calmed slightly... but at the same time... not. I moved closer to him, leaning on his shoulder lightly.

((Hmm... He is about to kiss her? Aiden comes inside, goes something like: "I'm ho-HOLY CRUD WHAT!?!?" XD))

Acheron wrapped his ram around her shoulders, leaning his head on hers. He hummed a song softly- The Bonny Swans.
"The eldest pushed the youngest in..." he whisper-sang.
