Poloish and Vera :3

The moment Laiko entered his dorm, he was out like a light. Oblivious to all Mike's curious questions and babbling in his ear, Laiko collapsed on his bed and fell instantly into a deep slumber - totally dead to the world.
And try as he might, Mike could not wake his friend.

Laiko grudgingly awoke late the next morning, but only after Mike tugged the blankets off him and threw a jug of ice cold water over his head. He came around with a yelp, coughing and spluttering as he wiped the freezing liquid out of his eyes and hair. "Mike!" He complained, glaring at his friend with an uncharacteristically vicious expression.
Laiko did not like waking up.
"Keep that scary face for somebody who gives a damn." Mike advised Laiko with a goofy grin, "Because right now, you're telling me all about last night!" Mike was practically bouncing up and down on the foot of the bed in excitement as Laiko groggily rubbed his eyes and heaved himself out of bed. "Yeah, yeah, Mike... Just let me shower first." He mumbled through a yawn.
Sleepily ignoring Mike's objections, Laiko dragged himself into the shower and re-emerged a short while later, feeling considerably more awake.
He plopped down on the bed - water dripping from his hair down his bare chest.
"Right... So what do you want to know?" Laiko asked, blinking placidly at his friend.
From there, Mike asked about Laiko's 'date', which Laiko proceeded to explain to him in great detail, since he never denied Mike anything he asked.

Hearing a knock at the door, Laiko glanced uncertainly toward Mike.
"I'm not expecting anybody, I daresay that'll be your date." Mike replied with a grin to Laiko's unasked question. "Mike, for the last time, we're just-" But Mike ignored Laiko's objection, and spoke over him. "You'd better get it."
"I've got to get dressed-"
Once again, Mike cut him off.
"Nah, that doesn't matter."
Laiko considered Mike's reassuring expression uncertainly for a moment, then shrugged and got to his feet, heading off to answer the door in his boxers.
Meanwhile, Mike sat in a chair in the corner of the dorm attempting to look inconspicuous whilst stroking an imaginary cat - one eye fixed on Laiko as he neared the door - ready to laugh his lungs out at Damon's reaction. Even he had to admit that Laiko looked damn good for a guy who hardly worked out... He had a classically handsome build, toned abs, and as if that wasn't enough - some dramatic gunshot scars to complete the package. This was one of many reasons that Laiko simply could not be straight.
Yes indeed... It would be hilarious to see the gay boy's reaction to this cruel little prank of his...

Meanwhile, Laiko scratched his damp hair as he reached for the doorknob, and tugged the door open. "Morning" He greeted Damon, smiling sleepily at his friend. Of course, he was perfectly at ease in Damon's presence, despite being half-naked. Why? Well, because Mike had said it was fine - therefore, of course, it was.

"Are you okay...?" Laiko asked, tilting his head slightly to one side and regarding his friend's strange expression with some concern. Perhaps it was just because he was still half asleep, but it had sounded rather as though Damon was choking on his own tongue as he tried to speak.
That was when a thought struck him: Perhaps Damon... Had different opinions to Mike, and was not entirely comfortable with Laiko's attire, or rather, lack of it.
"Uh, sorry, I just got out of the shower, so..." He trailed off, chuckling and scratching the back of his head awkwardly - leaning casually against the doorway as he began to feel somewhat uncomfortable. Still... It was okay, right? Because Mike had said so...
Laiko glanced at his friend with an uncertain frown - but Mike responded with a bright grin and a reassuring thumbs up, so Laiko shrugged and turned back to Damon with a smile - assuming that the situation was not awkward after all - because Mike had said so.

Mike caught Damon's eye, grinned, and waved overly-enthusiastically, in a clearly mocking fashion. Laiko, of course, did not notice this, because he was too busy replied to Damon's question from a moment before.
"Of course." He said with a smile, "Just give me a minute to wake up and get dressed, and I'll be right out."
With a friendly smile, Laiko gave Damon a brief, one-armed hug. "I'll see you soon." He promised, then retreated back into his room.

Laiko hurriedly dressed and splashed some cold water over his face - unsuccessfully trying to wake himself up. Then he trotted out into the hallway to meet Damon, ignoring Mike's frantic attempts to catch his eye. He didn't want to run errands for Mike now... He had a date with Damon.
Ugh, no, not a date... Gosh, now Mike even had him doing it...
"Ready to go?" Laiko asked as he reached Damon - wiping the irritation from his mind and grinning broadly at his friend.

"Well, I've heard Mike say that paintballing is pretty fun...?" Laiko suggested uncertainly, raising an eyebrow questioningly at his friend. "Unless you have some idea?" He added eagerly, his bubbly, child-like enthusiasm slowly returning as he began to wake up completely.

"I have no idea." Laiko replied with a shrug, "I've never really done anything outside of this place before, so I'm pretty much relying on your and Mike's guidance here." Laiko chuckled slightly, and glance at Damon with a faint smile - sensing that Mike's suggestion might not be a good idea, judging by Damon's expression.
"What do you think we should do?" He asked, face practically shining with innocence as he waited with a dumb smile for his friend's reply.

"Oh, that sounds fun!" Laiko exclaimed enthusiastically, clapping his hands excitedly in a stereotypical gay gesture which would have delighted Mike, had he been there to see it. "Shall I ask Mike to come, or will we go just the two of us?" He asked innocently, smiling cheerfully at Damon.

"Right! I'll go get him!" Laiko responded with a grin, spinning around and dashing back to the door.
Mike reappeared before Laiko did, so enthusiastic was he to accompany the pair on what he had obviously decided was a date to the beach. He grinned stupidly at Damon as he reached him, then flashed a meaningful wink as Laiko stalked after Mike, grumbling something about him being too energetic in the mornings. Mike, of course, ignored this - knowing that Laiko was too energetic at any time but the morning.
"Well, shall we head off?" Mike asked with a sneaky smile, glancing from Laiko to Damon and back again.
Laiko's expression at that moment warranted a cartoon question mark popping up above his fluffy golden head, but he merely shrugged and told Mike to lead the way, falling into step beside Damon, since Mike was walking too fast for him to keep up.
"He's acting weird..." Laiko informed Damon, gnawing his lip with worry, "D'you think he's okay?"

Laiko walked on in thoughtful silence for a while, then resumed chatting to Damon as the emerged into the bright new day outside. Mike hailed a cab for them, and the three boys set off for the beach. It didn't take them long to get there, and when they did, Laiko got out of the car into a fantasy world he could never have imagined. From the sheer power of the crashing waves to the warm, delicate sand between his toes, the beach was a far more amazing place than he could ever have guessed. He gazed around in breathless awe, feeling slightly overwhelmed by the magnitude of it all.

Laiko leaned happily against Damon as his friend wrapped an arm around his shoulder. With a bright grin on his face, he trotted merrily down the beach - taking in everything, occasionally pointing and babbling excitedly about the magnitude of bright umbrellas, towels and beach balls.
Meanwhile, Mike stalked along behind the pair - planning his next move. The beach... This was just the perfect opportunity to tease Damon a little more. He couldn't help it, he just loved pulling these cruel pranks... And after Laiko, this little gay was the most fun!
Well, step one, get Laiko into the water.

Grinning impishly, Mike sprinted forward and tackled Laiko, knocking him out of Damon's grasp.
Laiko hit the ground, winded - coughing and spluttering in surprise.
"Come on Buddy, lose the shirt, we're going for a swim!" Mike informed him, yanking Laiko to his feet and starting to drag him toward the sea.
"Mike, wait- Damon-" Laiko objected, but Mike wasn't listening - he was dragging.
So Laiko merely shrugged helplessly at Damon, and gestured for him to come along.
When he turned around, Mike had stopped, and Laiko walked promptly into him. "Lose the shirt!" Mike bellowed in his ear, causing Laiko to wince and stagger back. But he obediently did as he was told - following Mike's lead and tossing his shirt onto the sand, then raising his eyebrows questioningly at his friend.

Laiko noticed a few odd stares coming from passers-by as they noticed the ugly round scars that could only be bullet wounds - which of course were unexpected injuries to find on somebody, especially a teenager.
Feeling slightly self-conscious, Laiko reached for his shirt, but Mike slapped his hand away. "Mike-" Laiko began, but once again his friend cut him off.
"This is a beach, Laiko. It's the only place just about anybody can walk around showing as much skin as they like, and not get judged for it. If you're wearing that shirt, they'll kick you out?"
"Really?" Laiko asked, eyes wide with surprise. To think that they could really get kicked off the beach for something so silly...
"Really." Mike confirmed, "Which reminds me..." He turned to Damon, one corner of his mouth twitching toward a smirk. "Lose the shirt, Damon. We're going swimming!"
