Ria tilted her face up when she felt herself being pulled in before closing her eyes as she leaned into his chest. Most of her body relaxed, though her back still was tense and twisted a little trying to free it, wincing in the process. Sighing she shook her head, giving up on it and then resting in Alex's hold again. Looking up for a second as she heard Miranda's voice she saw the unharmed baby, and then the embrace and kiss that happened. Had he changed? Had she had any reason to panic? Well, it had felt like she had - in the moment at least. Silently, she moved herself a little closer to Alex, and stayed content in his arms.

Rhys moved away with a wince and leaned against a pole to support himself. He really wasn't looking well. Not at all. He sighed and pulled feebly at his shirt, tearing off a strip of cloth to wrap around his head. As he tied the knot, he slid down to the floor with Miranda trying to revive him. But she couldn't. So she dragged him back to Tatyana's tent where he lay.
Alex pushed Ria gently away and stood up. "Come on, we should start getting stuff." With that, he began to tear away tent flaps and pulling out boxes and bags of food.

Ria nodded her head and carefully went to her feet, teetering at first because of her ankle and then finally managing to balanace out. Quietly she began to grab things and help. Alex.

With agile speed, Alex moved in and out of the tent, bring unharmed food and items into Tatyana's tent. When there was nothing left, he began to pull the canvas flaps from the poles and cut them up. He didn't think they'd be reusable as a tent, so they may as well be used for something else. Maybe clothing?
"Ria, catch." He tossed her a closed pocketknife and gestured for her to help him.

((Leaving now for about a 4 hour trip down to a cabin))

Ria caught the knife, flipping it open and staring at it for a few moments. End all misery now? No. She still couldnt do that to Alex. So after she pulled herself out of her trance she joined him in ripping up the tent fabric. Each slice of the knife making her wish it was her wrist.

Alex turned and saw the suicidal look in Ria's eyes. He knew it was useless to try and console her, make her not want to be that way, but he had to try. He absolutely had to.
"Ria, come over here, please."

Ria glanced up at him. Rhys. The memories. Just. Too much. She shuddered, trying to push them off before she obediently went to Alexs side. "Yea..." she whispered closing the pocketknife and slipping it into her pocket.

Alex smiled gently and tossed his own knife on the ground near the flaps he'd already cut up. "Are you feeling okay?" He asked her, pressing the back of his hand to her forehead. She was feeling warm... too warm. He frowned and called for Miranda.

Ria shuddered, "I'm just... shaken up that's all..." she said, closing her eyes as he rested his hand on her forehead. She didn't get it. She wasn't sick, was she? Her mind slowly drifted back to the knife situated in her pocket. She could just end it here. But, as she thought of that she felt lightheaded and began to see spots. She blinked and more appeared. "I... I feel faint..." she said changing her mind on what she had said before and then she blacked out, her knees giving out and hee body dropping.

Alex swore and jumped to keep her from hitting the ground. Miranda walked out at a leisurely pace, not knowing the grave reality of the situation before her. He held Ria's limp body a couple of inches above the ground and gently lowered her so she could rest on it. Slowly, he took her hand and squeezed it softly. "Ria?" He asked, voice trembling.

Ria stirred but a few minutes later, her head pounding. When she raised her hand to the pain she pulled it away to some blood. Confused, she stared at the two bloodstained tips of her fingers for a moment. She must have gotten hit in the head during the tornado. And in her anxst to get away from Rhys not even realized it. Blinking once ahe finally pulled completely back - even though she didnt necessarily want to and looked up to a worried Alex. "Alex?" she muttered moving her hand back to where it was hurting and squeezing his hand with her other.

Alex and Miranda had pulled her onto a mat in a tent - Alex didn't know whose - when she declared Ria suffering from a concussion - or worse.
"She could have internal bleeding," Miranda stated professionally, "in which casem we would need to take her to the ER."
Alex swore. He didn't want to revisit that place. After Catherine had gone there, bled white... He shuddered at the gruesome image and shrunk away from Ria's touch. He didn't want to get close to anyone, especially this girl. Who was she? With a gasp of horror, he realized his memories were fading away just when he needed them the most. He groaned and shrunk back into a corner as Rhys came in to see what the commotion was all about.

Ria shifted, looking for Alex when he let go of her hand. What was going on? Internal bleeding? No. This wasn't good. But, she didn't want to live anyways. So... should it matter. With a cough, she felt her head screech in agony and she clenched onto it, leaning forwards and coughing up a little blood. No. Definately not good...

[[*growls* Why is my precious Abba-dear depressed. *hisses*]]

Miranda shook her head as Rhys walked in. "She's got a serious concussion, Rhys. She may have had worse if it weren't for you."
But he wasn't in the mood to be thanked. His blue eyes were smoldering and his fists clenched at his side. He knelt down beside Ria and dabbed at the blood she coughed up with a garment that was lying on the ground.
"Ria?"

Ria coughed again, this time catching the blood in the palm of her hand. "Rhys..." she whispered looking at the blood and shaking away the thoughts. Knife. She could do it to her wrists. Yes. She should...

[[*frowns* Should I know him?]]

"It's me." Rhys confirmed, pulling Ria up into a sitting position. He gently wiped the blood away from her rhands and padded a damp washcloth over her faace, wiping away the thin layer of sweat and grime that had accumulated there.
He glanced up at Miranda and shook his head. "It's not in her head. If anything, it's in her lungs." He frowned, taking it in. Was that any better?

Ria bit her lip, coughing once more, this time there was no blood. As he sat her up she felt her body trembling. Why was she trembling? She could feel a nasty pain in her back. Um. But. Why was she coughing up blood. She hadnt been hit she didnt think. "Wh-whats going on..." she said her voice hoarse as she looked up to him, so utterly confused.

[[Tell me. *pulls out Snuggie*]]

Rhys looked at her sadly. "I don't know, Ria. You're just going to have to hold tight and be strong." He squeezed her hand and turned around to grab another cloth. When he grabbed it, it was was layered with dirt on one side. He sighed, but it was the only thing he could use.
When he turned back, Miranda was bent over Ria, her hands working furiously over the girl's back. Ria was sitting up while Miranda pounded repeatedly on her back, her face looking determined. "Cough it up, Ria."

Ria let out a scream of pain when she felt the girl pound an embedded splinter deeper into her back. "owww. Stop. Please," she said coughing once more as she gasped for air. Still, nothing came up. She looked over to Alex then back to Rhys. "I still feel faint..." she choked out squirming away from Miranda. "I didnt swallow anything. I dont remember getting hurt during the tornado. I dont feel any pain other than my pounding head and my aggrivated back..." she whispered, feeling something coming back up her throat.

Rhys pulled Miranda away gently, pushing her next to Alex. "He needs your help. You're the doctor, and he's unconscious." He glanced at his sleeping friend with a painful stare. He wasn't sleeping. He'd fainted, and that could never be good.
Reluctantly, the dark haired girl nodded and moved away. Rhys turned back to Ria and nodded. "You may have a concussion. Do you remember what happened before the tornado?"

Ria gently bobbed her head. "Well. Yea. I remember being kidnapped and raped. Raped by you. Finding Alex completely knocked out. Alex not remembering anything. Running off and twisting my ankle and do I have to continue...." she muttered holding her hand against her back.

Rhys sighed and rubbed the back of his neck uncomfortably when she mentioned their little 'incident'. "Like I said before, it was a mistake. I'm not going to do it again. I'm talking about right before it."

Ria nodded her head. "Yea. I was with Alex. And y'all barged in and you got ontop of me and Alex took care of Miranda. And Alex finally had some of his memories back..." she said before closing her eyes at the pounding feeling in her head.

Rhys chuckled. "Yeah. I''m glad he did, though he seems to have lost them for the moment." His humor vanished instantly as he glanced over at Alex with a worried expression. It was having a big effect of Ria, he could already tell.
"But you're better than you would have been. You know that right?"

Ria nodded her head. "Yea... I guess..." she murmured before coughing once more, once again, blood leaving her mouth in the process.
