Damien turned to face her and sighed. "We're not here to fi-" I began, but Erik launched himself at her, instantly changing.
"Yes." He snarled, landing in front of her, his bristling black fur standing on end.

I fell back on my butt after Erik had jumped at me,but I quickly kicked my right foot up and hit him in the groin.As he doubled over I scrambled back away from him and stood up."That you said you were ready?" I said to Erik,my voice just a tiny bit shaky from the scare I got.

Erik groaned and staggered back, but got back up afterwards. "Yeah, I'm ready."

"Well,come on then."I said and crooked a finger at him.I then braced myself for anything he had to throw at me.

Erik stared at her for a few more seconds, anticipating anything she might do. Damien stood a little way away by a tree, folding his arms and looking at the pair. If Erik didn't get himself killed then she'd leave before he did. Erik pounded at her, claws outstretched.

I jumped behind the tree I was standing,then ran around so I came out about 15 feet behind Erik. I didn't worry about the other werewolf because he seemed content to stay out of the fight.

Erik growled and turned, staring hard at the vampire. "Coward. Why not turn and fight?"

"Because I know were evenly matched."I replied with a shrug and waited for his next move.

Erik snarled at her, before jumping at her again, not showing any mercy as he leapt at her, hackles raised, and teeth bared.

I tried to jump out of the way but my foot got snagged on a tree branch and I fell down.Then the next thing I knew Erik had landed on me,knocking the air right out of me.

Erik snarled and landed on top of the vampire, his claws slowly but surely digging into her shoulders as she squirmed below him. "You're going to suffer, leech. You're going to suffer like you made him suffer."

I gasped at the pain that radiated in my shoulders as he dug his claws in,then started panicking.I tried to roll him off of my back but he had me pinned down.

He bent over her and leaned closer, so his canine nose was almost touching hers. "Come on, leech. I want to hear you scream." He snarled, digging his claws in all the way, sharply and deeply.

I whimpered,biting my lip so hard it started to bleed,just to keep him from having the satisfaction of hearing me scream."No!"I gasped and closed my eyes against the pain.

He grinned and withdrew his claws from her sharply, before cutting the branch at her feet to pieces, before picking up her weak body and tossing it at a tree, like she was merely a ragdoll.

I hit the tree hard then put my hands down in time to brace myself went I hit the ground.I still didn't scream though my body was quivering with pain.I had tears in my eyes and was happy that my hair blocked them from the mutts view.

Erik grinned as he realized the the pain he was causing her was so intense. He launched himself at her again, knocking her balance, sending her to the ground again.

I lay on the ground trying to no avail to catch my breath from the last hit."Please...."I whimpered either wanting him to leave me alone or just kill me so I wouldn't feel anything.I finally screamed when his foot connected with my ribs and broke one.

The violence was too much for Damien. As Erik picked her up by her neck, Damien sprang forwards, instantly changing to wolf, before leaping on Erik's back. Erik released her in surprise, as the two wolves went scrambling off in a flurry of leaves. Damien recovered and crouched low, growling. He moved so he was in front of the vamp. "Leave her alone Erik! Enough is enough!"
"Damien?! Are you INSANE?" He bellowed the last words, ears now pinned back on his head. For a moment Damien thought that his friend was going to attack him, a flash of anger passed through his eyes, but Erik stood up straight. "The Alpha will hear about this." He said simply, walking off, picking his schoolbag up in his paws and hurtling off into the trees.

I watched in amazement as the Damien jumped in front of me,blocking Erik from me.When Erik had disappeared I looked up at Damien and smiled sincerely,"Thank you."I said then groaned when I tried to take a breath in,my ribs felt like he was still kicking them.

I narrowed my eyes at her, not wanting to talk to her. "Just leave me alone." He said, straightening up and staring to walk away. "I've just risked my neck for you, I hope you realize that."

I sighed and uttered the words few every heard from me,"I'm sorry."I closed my eyes as my body started to mend itself from the inside out.After a couple of seconds I was able to sit up but I had to use a tree to brace myself."I shoulder have never attacked you."I said as an apology.

"Sorry doesn't cover it. You know what'll happen to me now?" He growled, sighing and looking down. "It's done. I need to go."

"What'll happen?"I asked,really not knowing."Your whole pack tries to kill me because if so can you just do it now?And is Erik on steroids or something?"I asked and sighed as the inside of my body was done healing.

Damien scoffed. "No, he's just trying to protect his dignity. I beat him down, he was mad. I'm gonna get shit for this." He buried his face in his hands.
