I yelled in surprise as he tackled me into the mud, only momentarily freezing before throwing a huge fistfull of mud at him.

"Oh yeah now its a party!" He laughed and chucked some mud back at her but low on her to keep it from getting in her eyes or mouth. Alazar was barking happily behind them and he climbed out of the mud holding out a hand for her. "Come on, we'll all need a bath" He chuckled.

I sat in the mud for a few more seconds giggling, covered in dirt, before I took his hand and pulled myself out of the huge muddy puddle, still sniggering. "We totally will."

"Come on Alazar" He called and took her with them to the house, "Wait. before we go in stand there for a second." He said with a smile and took out the hose with a grin. "You are not walking into my house dripping with mud" He chuckled and sprayed her

I shielded my face for a second, getting used to the freezing cold water. I spun around, letting the water clean my back aswell. "Thank goodness it's a warm day or I'd be freezing my butt off right now!" I chuckled.

"The warmest its gonna be for a while" He said and hosed himself down as well as Alazar and managed to make it up to the bathroom with them without slipping. "Now since I moved, i have more than one bathroom. Here are some clothes to wear until yours are clean and dry. The other shower is down the hall." He said and handed her the clothes.

"Thanks." I smiled and took the clothes, walking over to the other bathroom and slipping inside, turning on the shower and getting in, hanging my clothes on the rack. Once i was done, I dried and clothed myself, admiring his boyish taste in clothing. When I was ready, wet hair up in a ponytail, I walked outside with my wet clothes wrapped in a towel.

Gary had walked out with just a towel wrapped around his waist and steam rolled off his toned body. Sure it was lean but the muscle was there. Along with a little happy trail leading down from his belly button. He looked up and stared at her. "Oh, well this is awkward" he said with a bright blush.

I turned the corner and blushed, seeing him only in his towel. "Oh...I'm sorry. I should wait downstairs." I averted my eyes and started to walk past him.

"Oh come on at least im not naked" He laughed and took it lightheartedly. "I'll meet you downstairs," He smiled and walked to his room to get on his clothes.

I smiled to myself as I walked down the stairs, before exploring his living room. It was rather spacious, and very nice decor. I sat down on a large sofa, and scanned his book collection on the bookshelf.

He came downstairs and met up with her. "So, since we are stuck here, what did you wanna do?" He asked and sat down next to her.

I looked at him, taring my eyes away from an old copy of Romeo and Juliet. "I don't know..." I said truthfully, closing the book and putting it in my lap. "Is it alright if I stay here?"

"Yeah no problem" He said and took the clothes and put them in the washer turning it on. "You're welcome to stay." He said and walked over sitting next to her again

I smiled at Gary, before curling up on the sofa. "I've been thinking about...things...and..." I paused, not sure how to continue, feeling my face grow hot again.

He smiled and put an arm over her. "Yes?" He said with a smile and rubbed her arm. "Come on dont be all 'beat around the bush' now," He chuckled

"Uh...well..." My skin tingled at his warm touch. "Well...Do you like me?" I asked, a hint of a smile.

He smiled and leaned over to look at her. "Yeah. I do." He said with a smile and a light blush on his cheeks. "I know its kind of overstepping the friendship line" He sighed gently

"Well that's good." I looked at him, biting my lip a little. "Because I like you too." I leaned upwards and gave him a peck on the cheek.

His face went blank with wide eyes at the kiss and looked down at her. "I was hoping for that answer" He said with a smile

"Well you got it." I said simply, pulling my legs up so I was curled up in a ball.

He smiled a toothy smile and gave her a kiss on her cheek as well. "I've actually liked you for a while to be honest" He said softly

"You're not the only one." I grinned. "Since primary I think." I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder. "Unfortunately so has Ricky. I know you don't like him, and neither do I."
