I smiled and said,"Thank you."softly as I climbed in.His car was really nice and looked kinda new.I wasn't surprised because he dressed really nice and had an expensive saddle,and for once I held all my comments to myself.

I got in and looked over at her. She looked overwhelmed. "I'm a tad bit spoiled." I said hoping to lighten the mood.

I smiled back,"And it kinda shows."I said and sat back in the seat.I have no idea why I felt shy around him right then,I mean I had already kissed him,and I couldn't get the butterfly feeling out of my stomach.So I sat there looking out the window,not saying a word because I was afraid I would make a fool of myself.

I pulled out and headed down the road. I looked over at her and poked her side. "You okay?" I asked

I smiled slightly and said,"Ya,just a little nervous."

"Why? You look great." I said turning.

I shrugged and glanced at him,"Actually it's sort you that's making me nervous."I said and looked away because I felt my cheeks heat up.

I laughed. "Don't get all bashful on me. You're the one that sat on me. Remember?" I said smiling at her.

I laughed,"Be quiet."I said teasingly and smiled over at him.

"Okay." I said simply. I turned the car into the parking lot and popped the hood. I got out then walked to the other side to help Ray out.

I gave him a puzzled look as I got out,"Why did you pop the hood?"

"You didn't think we just came to look around did you? When youv'e got a car like this, you show it off." I said reaching out a hand to help her out.

I took his hand with a laugh,"Of course.I forgot that car shows were a thing where guys show off their toys."I said teasingly.

"Guess its time to come out." I said raising the hood up.

I smiled and leaned against the side of the car.Looking around I saw a lot of beautiful classic cars. The car on the right side of Jordan's was a '63 Falcon to fox Mustang and on the other side was a '70 Buick GSX.From what I could see he had the only newer car."Your going to get stomped into the ground by all these other cars."I said teasing him just a bit.

"Yeah, I know." I said taking a towel out to shine it up a bit.

I rolled my eyes and said,"So.....what are we suppose to do exactly?"

"Well you stand there and look pretty." I said buffing a spot just above the tire. I stood up before saying, "And I'll talk to all the old guys as they come by. And if your good we can go for milkshakes after." I said smiling.

I laughed,"What if I don't want to be good?"I asked as some people came to look at his car.

"Then I guess you'll get a milkshake anyway." I said laughing. "Hold that thought." I said then walked over to a group of guys who looked to be in their mid thirties.

I sighed,Yep,this is going to get boring fast.I thought.Since he was talking to some people I took that time to slip away and go look at other cars.

We talked for a while, maybe 30 minutes. When they finally left I turned around to see about Ray, as she hadn't come over to talk like i thought she would have. I saw that she had left. I looked around and didn't she her anywhere.

I had walked through almost all the lines,just looking at the cars from a distance but I never stopped to look at them.There were some newer modles of car towards the back,then trucks were off to the side.Since I was bored with looking at cars,I went to look at trucks.

Trucks! I thought. How could I be so stupid? I should have looked there in the first place. I headed across the lot to a row of trucks.

Now the trucks I did go up for a closer look.I was such a sucker for a guy with a truck,but hey I'm a country girl and most of us love a guy with a big truck.I smiled to myself on that thought, then went back to listening guy to talk about his '98 Dodge Ram.
