Sonic and Sage

I walked out into the middle of the fueled then stopped. I turned to face her, I barked then growled and lunged at her.

I quickly jumped to the side,and he caught nothing but the tall grass.It was then I realized my advantage.Speed and agility.

I growled when I hit the grass, I spun around and charged her. I hit her from the side to the ground. I rolled her over on her back and smiled, cocking my head a bit to the side.

I smiled a toothy smile then kicked my back legs against his expose stomach and flipped him off of me.After getting up I trotted toward him with a playful growl.

I laughed as she trotted over and I stood on my feet. I nodded for her to stay there. I went into the trees and changed back before walking back out of the woods.

By time he had gotten back I had already changed and was laying on my back looking at the sky thoughtfully.

I went and sat down beside her. "He'll play off your weakness. I say he will probably use his strength to get you on the ground, but if you can get him down on his back you'll almost always win."

I smiled slightly and glanced at him before looking back at the sky and answering,"Maybe it would just be easier if I left the pack.That way I wouldn't have to be on the lookout every second of the day and everyone would be happy."

"You can't do that." I said looking over to her. "It's not fair to you."

I shrugged and sat up,"Someone once told me that life isn't fair,that's why you don't need to take it seriously.In the end everyone dies."

"Well, where are you going to go? You can't just go off by yourself. Jay and the boys will tear you to pieces." I said.

I din't say anything just bit my lower lip again,and tried to think of an answer.

When she was silent I sighed. "Exactly." I siad.

I sighed angrily and said,"Fine I'll stay,but if I get killed tonight it will be you and Jay's fault.Jay because he killed me and yours because you tricked me into staying somehow."I stood up and stretched.

"Look, If it gets too rough I'll step in. But I'm confident that you can take this kid." I said with a slight smile.

"Wont you get in trouble for stepping in?Then others will think that that means I can't fight for myself?"I asked.I smiled and added,"And thanks for the vote of confidence."

"Jay has agreed to let me step in if I think he is getting too rough." I said. "But, only if you're laying on the ground about to die." I said with a small laugh.

I looked down and shook my head before I looked back up at him,"What to go on another run?"then I laughed,"Now theres a thought,I can run around until I tire Jay out then I can attack him."

I laughed. "You think you can tire Jay out?!" I said looking down at the ground. I puled up some grass and started playing with it. "You're funny."

"Well then maybe I can surprise him before he tries to get me?"I asked more than stated.

"Well, seeing as the fight is scheduled, and he is the one that is going to challenge, then.. No." I stated simply. "Plus, you're not supposed to know about it,remember?"

I sat back down again,"Right."I started tapping my fingers against my knees then said,"So......?"

I looked at my phone. "Oh..shitt.." I mumbled. "Uhh, we need to leave, like now." I said standing up.

"Why?"I asked as I stood up.

"Because you.. I.. We.. were supposed to be there 15 minutes ago." I saidas I walked across the field back to my house.
