The Lazy Polo and the Glittery Kira XD (Mature Content?)

While Chazz stood, frozen to the spot, a retaliating grenade was thrown - this time from his own side. It struck the ground not far from him, and exploded violently - splintering nearby enemy structures, and blowing a hole in the bunkhouse.
Chazz felt the sickening feeling of being thrown through the air - then striking the ground and bouncing limply like a tattered ragdoll. His limbs flopped awkwardly as he finally came to a twisted halt. Flames licked at his clothes, and he could feel his own flesh burning. His ears rang from the concussion of the explosion, and Chazz's broken body was riddled with pain.
He tried to breathe in, and the pain of it robbed him of consciousness almost instantly.
His last fleeting thought was a desperate prayer for help...

Mav watched as the grenade was thrown, a few dozen feet from him. He let out a yell, as he saw his comrades caught by the explosion. The force of the blow threw him in the air. He landed on his side, and blacked out.
When he came to, the battlefield was...empty. He sat up, and gasped in pain. Something was broken...many things were broken. He managed to stand, but it was excruciating. Mav looked around, trying to find something that would show him where everyone had gone. Who had won? Who had died? That question was easily answered. He clenched his fist and grinded his teeth ash saw the bodies littered everywhere, some absolutely dead...others were...dying. Why would the army leave them? There were uniforms from both sides on the dead and dying. He blinked, trying to clear his vision. He managed to begin to make his way around the field.
Mav moved through the maze of debris and....other things. He shook his head and kept going. The blast had blown him in...some direction. It had also blown many familiar things away...what kind of grenade could cause so much damage?

As Chazz began to come to, he curled his broken body tighter into the fetal position, and moaned softly under his breath. He was a coward, and pain was no friend of his. He was not ashamed to show his suffering... And at that moment, the pain was excruciating. Another low moan escaped his lips as the vibrations of heavy footsteps sent just the subtlest of quivers through the ground - sending an explosion of pain through his bones.

Mav saw movement. He slowly went over to investigate, and noticed a familiar cloak. He went over and looked. Sure enough, it was the same guy.
"Excuse me, but are you alright?" He asked, not daring to touch him. Who knew what was broken? He crouched over the man, waiting for a response.

Chazz groaned painfully as a faraway voice broke through his thoughts. He tried to answer, but his mouth felt as dry as sandpaper, and all he managed was a dry cough - which sent such a shock of pain through his bones that he yelped and whimpered pathetically - tears forming around the closed lids of his eyes. Chazz was a sensitive man. Weak - as most would say.
"Don't-" Chazz managed in rough grunt. "Wanna... Die." He choked out the words, and moaned painfully again. He tasted blood in his mouth, and he felt it running over his side, where he guessed a broken rib had pierced the skin - unless he was just being dramatic. Which, admittedly, was not altogether unlikely.
Chazz drew in another shaky breath - then he blacked out again, and everything went quiet.

"You won't. I promise." Mav said, then began to gingerly move him. He picked him up, bridal style(xD) and began carrying him towards where he guessed the base was.

Chazz came around again a short while later, and found himself cradled in a pair of strong arms. Had he not been consumed by pain, he would have enjoyed it immensely. A soft moan of pain escaped his lips, and - feeling soft material brushing his fingertips - Chazz grasped a section of the man's shirt tightly - burying his face in the stranger's chest.
"Where... Are you... Taking me?" He managed in a pained whisper - his words slightly muffled, since he was talking into the soldier's shirt.
