Girleh & I

The peace was disturbed by a rustling of bushes, and the thudding of something large. I spun around, something hadmoves I was sure of it. All of a sudden something huge and hairy pinned me to the ground, and I felt a searing pain on my left arm. I managed to kick it off, but with great difficulty. I ran. My arm stung horribly, blood dripped down my arm as I legged it through the forest, not even daring to look back. I didn't stop untill I was stadning on my doorstep, gasping for breath.

I sat on my doorstep examining the bite. It was nothing like the vampire bite...It looked as though a hige set of canine teeth had embedded itself in my flesh. There were deep holes where blood leaked out of. Pushing the door open, the house was silent. They had gone to work. I stumbled into the kitchen, cleaning up the wound, but it just kept bleeding.

I ran it under the tap, and winced as it stung horribly. The blood swirled around the basin.

When the blood had stopped, I pulled on a long sleeved top, hiding the cut. I couldn't stress how much it hurt, but I was sure it would heal over in time.

Daring to go outside, I stepped out, leaving my bag inside. The sun had just peeked out of the clouds.

After a few minutes strolling down the street, I started to boil in my jacket. I knew I couldn't take it off, or people would start asking questions.

I stared at him as though he were mad. Stupid me. He could actually smell the blood. Brilliant. I had the momentary urge to ask him what the bite was from, but thought it best to keep it quiet.

There are such things as werewolves you know. Something in my head clicked. Oh God.

All of a sudden a scent wafted past me. The most foul stench ever. I covered my nose and mouth, but then realised. It was coming from him.

I sighed and took one glance at him. Part of me wanted to tell him to go away, but another part of me wanted to run after him and talk. I sort of did both. I started after him, but my feet seemed glued to the ground. Giving up, I walked into the forest.

If I really was a werewolf, couldn't I just transform when I wanted to? Or was it something far more complicated and painful? Four days till the full moon...what could I do?

I had a thought. Even though it sounded like the most awesomley stupid thought ever but still. I followed the vampire scent, and traced it back to a house. Taking a deep breath, I knocked on the door.

I grabbed hold of the door before he could shut it, blocking it. 'I know what I said was out of order.' I told him truthfuly. 'But I need your help.'
