Baddie and I[Mature Content?]

Carter looked at her in disbelief, he had litterally woken up some kind of monster rebel child. He hurdled the log just clearing it although he almost did trip when she vered off to the left. He pushed his stride longer fighting to keep up with her.

Meraunda looked back, then slowed. Her breathing was fairly heavy, but she grinned brightly at him. "Good job." She congratulated him on keeping up, slightly winded.

xD ahaha. I thought it fit.

Carter came to a halt behind her a second later and let out a soft breath rather tired. He looked over to Meraunda and laughed softly before shaking his head.

[brb, have to go school supplies shopping Dx]

[Ah. Yuck. Have fun ]

[argh. That took forever Dx]

Meraunda sat down on some tree roots that were sticking way up, grinning up at him. "So, Carter, where you from?" She asked, dropping the smile but still rather happy looking.

Carter looked down at her and smiled softly before looking around. He glanced back down to Meraunda quietly "I've moved around quite a bit but origionaly I'm from Ireland" he said simply. He had only lived there for a short time so his voice showed no trace of his homelands but he visited every now and then.

Meraunda thought about that, then nodded. "Interesting. I hear potatoes are very big over there." She grinned teasingly at him.

Carter laughed and looked down to her "Hmm, more Leprechauns and pots of cold" he teased slightly. He looked at her for a minute before smiling "What about you?" he asked curiously.

Meraunda shrugged. "Dunno. I only remember coming here, and little bits and pieces of my past. Other than that...it's just a blur."

Carter looked at her curiously for a moment "And you've never tried to figure out where your from?" he asked a little suprised, that would be the kind of thing that would kill him until he figured it out. Not knowing those things just kind of put him on the edge, he liked to have all the facts...

"Oh believe me, I've tried. But there's just nothing. No one by the same last name, no one who knew me before. Nothing." She sighed and looked down. "But, it doesn't matter. This is my home now."

Carter looked at her quietly and nodded "I guess" he said simply before glancing around the forest and then back down to her "Whats the school like?" he asked changing the subject although he was still kind of curious.

"Definitely weird. I mean, we have the normal curriculum. They just tie that in with the powers. It's a pretty good system. The younger kids start off like they were learning to count and such, and then as they get older it gets more advanced. It's a pretty good system." She smiled up at him, relieved he had changed the subject.

Carter looked over to her and smiled softly "What's it going to be like for me?" he asked curiously. He was older, just coming into the program... He knew he wasn't going to have any classes tommorow but just meet with the teachers so they could figure out how far along he was with his powers and education.

"Well, it depends on how advanced you are and such. Like with what you've shown me, you'll probably be in the higher level class with people with similar powers. Levatation and telekinetics are really difficult, so the classes will probably be more advanced since you're pretty developed." She explained smoothly, being used to telling people about this.

Carter nodded softly before sitting down by her quietly as he thought about it, he twiddled his thumbs quietly before looking back to her "What kind of classes do you have?" he asked curiously. Her powers were pretty interesting to him, to be able to see and hear what was going on all over the place... it seemed pretty sweet.

"I finished a while ago. I really just counsel and help other people with their studies. It works for me." She smiled at him, then watched him with careful eyes. The smile slid of her face, and she just kind of gazed at him rather intently, her eyes glazing over. Two fates intertwined...green and blue, land and sea. Together they join, the earth will be free. Rang loudly in her ears. She covered them, keeling over because it hurt. She knew it was only audible to her.

Carter nodded softly as he thought about that, looking out into the forest. When he realized she had stopped talking he looked over to her realizing she was looking at him rather intently "Meraunda?" he asked confused. When she keeled over he was by her side in a moment his hand gently on her shoulder not really sure what was going on.

Meraunda looked up at him, the voice gone. "Sorry, I'm fine now." She gave him what she hoped was a reassuring smile. Lookind up, she frowned. "We should head back, looks like they're starting to make dinner." She stood and brushed her pants off, then held her hand out to him with a warm smile.

Carter wasn't exactly convinced but he wasn't going to pry, he liked Meraunda, he didn't want to push her away. He reached up and took her hand quietly before standing up. he looked at her for a moment before smiling "Dinner look any good?" he asked teasingly before starting back.

"Yeah it looks pretty good. It's steak so theybusually try to cook extra well and...oh." She grinned at him, realizing he had been teasing. She trudged after him, a little tired after the vision.

Carter smiled at her warmly when she clued in "Hmm, Steaks, sounds good" he said simply before laughing softly. He walked through the woods quietly slowing when they got closer to the cabins.

Meraunda walked closely beside him, her hand occasionally brushing against his. She blushed each time, but made no move to move away.

Carter looked down to her quietly the first time their hands brushed, smiling softly when he saw her cheeks get red. He glanced around quietly before they came out to the cabins, looking down to Meraunda he smiled softly "See you at dinner?" he asked.
