I blew air from my cheeks. "Well...Is it possible to control your...impulse?" I asked.

I sighed softly and tilted my head, "That's what I'm here for. To see if I can control that and my power surges."

"Maybe we could learn it together? I mean...it's sort of the same for me. I can't touch anyone without killing them. But there must be a solution..." I waved my gloves at her. "These stop me from needlessly killing anyone." I said brightly. "So maybe there's something you can do about your impulses?"

I sighed and nodded, "Probably, and maybe there's something you can do," I motioned to her gloves, "Other then wearing gloves."

I shrugged. "Well when you find one, come back to me." I chuckled. "I've tried it with everything. When I was a little girl, first hamster I held in my hands, just...poof. Gone. I remember my parents being absolutely terrified of me."

"That sucks." I blurted out before realizing that probably wasn't good wording. I almost apologized but refrained knowing I hated pity and she probably did too. "Well, I killed a horse once. Can't be a Vet that's for sure." I smirked.

I snorted. "Yeah, it does." I raised my eyebrows. "Well that career is out the window." I matched her grin. "Shall we go? I can't be bothered to stand around the corridor anymore."

"Sure." I said a grin coming on to my face. Finally someone who didn't see me as a killer. I imagined she thought the same of me.

I head out, walking with Ara. "When did you discover your abilities?"

"When I was about 8." I replied, "I touched my friend's cut she had on her knee and it imediatly closed up." I shrugged and walked beside Ellie, my short legs having to move faster to keep up with hers.

I looked at her, eyebrows raised. "So you didn't hurt her then? How come? I suppose you must have been concentrating hard."

"No, I didn't hurt her." I replied with a shake of my head. "It was only a minor wound, it took only seconds to heal. When it is a major wound it takes longer, thus the higher chances of a power burst." I explained to Ellie.

I nodded. "Oh right...Maybe there's some way you can limit yourself. Like, healing only part of a wound, or healing it halfway. You know...if it was like, a cut, you could heal it enough so it...seals itself over, but not heals completely." I shrugged. "I talk too much." I chuckled.

I shrugged, "I don't talk enough." I said softly. I was surprised with myself, talking this much was an achievement. I had been depressed the last weeks and didn't talk to anyone. "That's what I have to work on." I let out a sigh, I wished I could be like Ellie, she didn't complain at all.

"Well it helps now you have someone to talk to, firing insults at someone doesn't count." I gave her a friendly smile, and headed out into the warm summer air. It was a beautiful day, there wasn't a single cloud in the sky.

"It's nice out." I said breathing in the fresh air.

I nodded. "Yeah, it is." I sat on a bench and leaned back, stretching. "How did you meet that jerk Danny's brother? Did he used to go here?" I asked.

"No, I'd known him and Danny since I was 11." Was my broken reply. I brushed the black curls from my face and sighed very softly.

I nodded. "Well you're lucky you knew someone." I chuckled. "A lot of people were too scared to come near me." I shrugged. "Oh well. At least I've met someone who doesn't think me a freak." I grinned at Ara.

"Yeah," I replied and kept walking. " I guess so."

I watched her walking, and got back up from the bench.
"HEY ELLIE!" Bellowed a voice from the other side of the school. I turned around.
"Crap, what do they want now?" I muttered, spying a group of girls hanging in the corridors. They started to snigger. I sighed. "What the hell?" I rolled my eyes, deciding to ignore them.

I snarled and glared at them. Actually wanting to use my curse for once. I turned to her and then motioned for her to keep walking.

I followed her gladly, wanting to turn my back on the creeps.
"Hey, is it true you killed your ex?" One yelled over. That was it. I turned around.
"No, it isn't actually." I spat back.
"Oh yeah, that was HER." She looked at Ara. "YOUR boyfriend ended up in hospital because he kissed you!" I growled, my fists clenched.

I swallowed thickly and my eyes seemed to turn an eerie shade of swimming blue. They narrowed as rage overtook me and I stepped up to the girl. "Why don't you go over there and skin your knee, come back and I can 'heal' you." I hissed.

I watched as she stepped up to her. I had to admit, she had guts. "Listen, just lay off the insults, okay?" I snapped.
