"Where were you?" Bella whispered as she moved closer to Rhys. Slowly and cautiously but at least she was moving towards him. He looked more like Rhys than the other boy had.

"Talking to Dom." Rhys replied, scooting a bit closer when he saw her moving towards him. "I had no idea Leon was here. He's my twin."

"But you were going to run away and leave me..." Bella whispered. Inching closer.

"I was going to come back." He whispered fervently. "You have to believe me." He reached his hand out to hers, leaving it up to her to accept or reject him.

Bella didn't hesitate. She threw herself into Rhys' arms and buried her face in his neck. "I was so scared." She whispered.

"I'm sorry." Rhys wrapped his arms around her stomach and let his lips touch her neck. "I never wanted to hurt you."

"Do you really love me Rhys?" Bella asked questioningly. Remembering what he had said earlier.

"I know that I would die for you." Rhys avoided saying how he didn't know what love was and neither did she.

"Love is doing best for the object of your affection." Bella said studiously, she remembered her mother telling her that when she was very young.

"Hm..." Rhys trailed off, thinking about it. He would do his best, right? But he wasn't perfect... still, it was his best, not Mother Teresa's.

"And you've done that so far." Bella whispered before closing her eyes.

"Yes." Rhys agreed, knowing that he was lying. He hadn't done his best. He'd let Bella down. But she didn't need to know that. No, she didn't. What she doesn't know can't hurt her....

"Now what should we do?" Bella asked, still whispering as she shifted in his arms. Letting out a soft sigh she enjoyed the comfort he gave her. Just by being there.

Rhys grinned. "I suppose we should find a house or something of that sort..." He said, glancing around.

"We can't go back to our house?" Bella asked tilting her head slightly. Raising an eyebrow she glanced around. She had actually never been in this part of the forest before.

"I'm afraid not, love." He sighed, patting her back comfortingly. He glanced around. "I'm sure there will be something..."

"How far do we have to go?" Bella questioned softly. Eyes watering. She wanted to go back to the house they had made their own.

"Don't cry." Rhys pleaded, standing up and helping her up. Quietly he wrapped his arm around her waist and started walking. "I'm not sure..."

Bella walked with him, slowly. "Think Dom and Leon will find us again?" She asked in a soft tone. Kicking at the stones under her feet she breathed in the fresh summer air.

"I couldn't really care less about Dom, but I'm hoping Leon doesn't." Rhys muttered.

"But you and Dom were fighting over me. What if he hurts you?" Bella asked him softlyy.

"He won't. We've been friends for so long..." Rhys trailed off.

"If you're sure." Bella replied.

"I am." Even though he wasn't sure.

Bella bit her lip and held his hand as she walked along beside him. "So do we just keep walking until we find some place?" She asked softly. Biting her lip slightly she hummed to herself.
