Alicia sighed and returned to the bushes. Asia was still visible from here, and she could clearly see the girl leaning against the taller boy. She chuckled. "This girl has many problems..." She trailed off under her breath.
Catherine arched an eyebrow at her, but Alicia just shrugged.

Finally Asia collected herself enough to walk back over to where Colton and Alicia were. She narrowed her eyes slightly at Alicia before looking at Colton. "Colt can I please talk to you?" She asked sharply.

Colton raised an eyebrow at her and shrugged. "Can't. Already skipped enough work today. If I miss anymore the boss will eat me."
He pointed at Alicia, who was studiously dropping fruit into a basket. He was just trying to avoid confronting her. He really did not want to talk to her. That was not how he rolled. Alicia must have probably warned her, he inferred. And that was not good. Not at all.

"Fine, but we have to talk later." Asia demanded before rolling her eyes and walking away swiftly.

Colton swore under his breath and turned back toward the plant, viciously stripping away the branches and fruit and throwing them in the general direction of the basket.
"easy there!" Alicia called. "What's the matter?" She slapped Colton's back in a friendly gesture and he cried out. "Sorry."
"Did you tell her?"
"I had to."

Asia heard Colton and walked away swiftly. Apparently he was the kind of player Alicia had said he was. Strange thing was that he didn't seem like one.

Colton glanced over his shoulder and saw Asia angrily walking away. He sighed, knowing she must have heard him, but went back to work. He didn't like her! Was there a problem with that?! He went back to tearing leaves off of the branches again.
Alicia went and followed Asia, catching up to hehr easily and walking beside her in long smooth strides. "I know you think I'm only telling you this cause I'm jealous - which I'm not. Colton's just... ugh." She chuckled. "Anyway, I'm not, jealous, I just don't want you getting hurt."

"I know that," Asia replied softly with a sigh. "You know, i felt so special for a moment. Like I actually belonged somewhere. Now it's all gone." She told Alicia before biting her lip.

Alicia rolled her eyes. "He'll come around and see what he's missing." She grinned. "Anyway, there's planty of fish in the sea. Literally." She pointed as a school of bright red fish swam by in the near ocean.

"Well, now I'm not so sure I'll ever trust him again." Asia said somewhat curtly before offering a forced smile. "I don't trust very easily and he can know I won't be trusting him."

Alicia chuckled. "My advice? Give him the cold shoulder for a while until he gets the drift that he can't push you around. He'll leave you alone for a while after that then decide he likes you and wants to be around you after all." She rolled her eyes.

Asia laughed, "I doubt that." She shook her head before shrugging. "How do you know he'll decide he likes me after all?" She asked curiously.

"Well, not really like like." Alicia schrunched up her face irritably. "Trust me, I've been there, done that, never going back. Colton's good as a friend but he's way too immature for a relationship."

Asia shrugged, "If Hunter would shape up a bit and stop playing around he'd be good relationship material." She informed Alicia before scuffing her feet a little bit. Once again she was quiet, it was how she was very often. Not liking to be loud.

Alicia chuckled. "In my opinion, relationships should be 90% fun and only 10% serious. But Colton just doesn't get the whole 'commitment' idea." She laughed dryly and added, "Besides, I think relationships on this island will only complicate things."

Asia shrugged once again, "Yeah I guess that's true." She told her biting her lip slightly. "Oh well, I really wish we weren't here. but maybe once we're all mature enough relationships will work out. Aye?"

Alicia grinned. "Gotta keep the population thriving! And we need kids to feed us when we're old and feeble." She said the last words in a hoarse impression of a granny voice and bent ove,r picking up a stick to use as a make-shift cane.
"Oy, Charlie, can you get me another glass of prune juice?"

Asia chuckled, "That's true. But one of us is going to be left out. There isn't an even amount of girls and guys." She told Alicia seriously.

Alicia cocked her head to the side. "There are ten guys and ten girls, right?" She was confused. Unless someone died without her knowing...

"I thought there were nine guys and ten girls?" Asia then shrugged and bit her lip. Maybe the other guy just didn't like being around. Well now she felt plain old stupid.

Alicia shook her head. "Nope, there's an even amount. There's Colton, Alex, Jack, Brendan, Ryan..." She trailed off trying to remember the others. "Hunter, Sam, Brian, Anthony, and Drew... Yeah, got them all." She grinned.

"Oh, okay." Asia said with a shrug before looking down. She then looked back up, "So, who do you have your eyes on?" She asked with a small smirk.

"Me?" Alicia laughed, a little incredulous at the thought. She didn't have her eye on anyone. ?It would only make an already complicated situation even more so...
She sighed. "Yeah right. Like I said, I don't believe in relationships here. It'll only make our whole situation worse. Until we grow up and mature a little, at least." She chuckled.

Asia shrugged, "Oh okay."

Alicia nodded as a boy she didn't recognize right away came crashing through the woods.
"Alicia!" He cried. "There's been an attack!"
"What?!" She yelled in the boy's face.
He nodded, unphased by the outburst. Oh, it's Jack, she thought to herself.
"The legend wolf apparently!" Alicia grabbed Asia's arm and tore off through the tall grass back to the main camp, following the boy.
